A lunchtime kick off, and with a couple of new faces in the squad. Today would be a nice time to return to winning ways.

Jonzy on MM reckons the lineup is Martinez, Iorfa, Batth, Williamson, Golbourne, Byrne, McDonald, Coady, Henry, Edwards, Afobe.

Blues team - Kuszczak, Caddis Robinson Morrison Grounds, Gleeson Kieftenbeld Davis Maghoma, Gray Donaldson

Seriously, how is that team 2nd in the league?

Starting XI: Martinez; Iorfa, Batth, Williamson, Golbourne; Byrne, McDonald, Coady, Henry; Edwards; Afobe

Subs: Ikeme, Doherty, Price, Ojo, Graham, Holt, Le Fondre

Glad Graham is still on bench, might get to see him at some point. 2-0 Wolves

Tim II says that team - plus "strong, attacking bench" should be able to beat any team in the league. So that's all right then...

Because Blues are precisely that with Rowett excellent at setting up a 4-2-3-1.

Not quite the team I would have picked, but it is the team I expected.

Come on Wolves!

Expected team though would have preferred Price instead of Coady.

Holt on the bench as well as ALF? Hopefully he's just there to enjoy the view and isn't needed

You're exactly right. Rowett has done exactly what KJ has failed to do. Blues team far more than the sum of their parts, Wolves significantly less so far this season

Holt looked massive on the opening credits for sky! There's hope for me yet.

That looks like 4-3-3 to me and Blues were at 2nd but have dropped to about 6th now.

I do really like Rowett from what he's saying in his pre match interview. Very level headed.

We saw how poor that group of players were under Lee Clark, its surprising what a good coach can do with a very basic squad in this division.

Kenny has never beaten Birmingham at any club he's managed... Tits!

Good interview from Dangerous - player manager when we sack KJ?!
