Blackburn 0 - Wolves 1 - verdict thread

I'm struggling to understand the reason for our awful dip, given our form either side of it. Not complaining, mind - just delighted we've got out mojo back. With Afobe coming too, things will hopefully improve even further.
Dicko

Weren't you there - need a full detailed resume of the game together with individual player assesments!

Tbh we were a bit low down (front row) to give a reasonable assessment. Central midfield looked a touch lightweight and we missed Sako, we need a player who gives us an out.

Partly Dicko injured, partly who we played(except Forest of course).

Seen the highlights on Sky.

Edwards goal was excellent. Edwards miss was very poor and VLP miss was 'Clarkesque'.
We should have scored more, but still an excellent win and puts us on 40 points, just 1 point of the playoffs.

Rajiv's in his own head now. He tucked away those chances at Heerenveen.

Another excellent result. Clearly KJ has learnt from our bad run, and has sorted things out.

RVLP played mainly on the right, though he and Henry swapped wings a little.

I agree that he doesn't believe he can hit the target atm, but his pace and tricks always offers a threat

Having read through the Blackburn forum, and they seem to think that Wolves should have won by 3 or 4.

There were a fair few fans wanting Kenny to sub him in the latter stages on the game.

I came away from Ewood feeling very pleased. I thought Henry had his best game in a Wolves shirt without scoring.

The 8 point gap between us and the top 2 is not completely insurmountable. A few careful additions to the team over the next few weeks should see us pushing even further up the table. We've got a few very winnable games in succession now and if we approach them as professionally as we can I know we can get results.

Great game, great three points, team celebrating at the end with the away support...Tuesday next

Its good to see Henry playing so well, proving he can do it at this level.

Had a chat with Moxey and Ricketts outside the ground before the game. When I interupted them Moxey was talking to Sam about Jermaine Beckford. Quite random.

You just interrupted and started talking to them? How rude ;)

Conversely, props to Hause & Iorfa for freshening up the defence. Their inclusion, plus Stearmans recent numerous MOTM performances (he's been pretty good the past month) have re-secured our back line.

Nothing wrong with teenagers... (will be when I turn 20 in June however)

As well paid role models its the least they can do :) Moxeys actually quite funny

Did anyone notice McCarey stood in the concourse by himself? He had his hood up, heard him tell someone 'I'm trying to keep a low profile'

He's worried Saunders is coming for him :D
