Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

This is spot on IMO, I think it's all part of a general decline in western civilization as dramatic as that sounds.

As shit as some things are, the essentials work, most of the time, like water coming out the tap, food being in the shops, medical care, electricity, you could go on and on. The fact we've got all these things is a miracle, the norm throughout history has been misery, disease and death. The things we take for granted as being just the way things are is down to extreme competence over a sustained period of time. So many areas of the world today are evidence of just how fucked up things can be, and how quickly that could be here.

The level of complacency and incompetence on display at the minute is terrifying. I saw a Tory MP the other day saying it'd be a good thing if supply chains broke down because it'd mean the local farmer could sell stuff in the village, just total insanity. It's getting to the point of vandalism through incompetence.

Invites a discussion on the free markets and how global corporations can easily shut down small enterprise ( for their own gains )

Maybe two years ago people like Johnson were seen as loveable clowns or Gove as a quirky funny looking upstart. In all honesty I now view much of the political class with deep hatred and a genuine fear they are demonically possessed. I feel most of the Labour Party have been label bombed into authority and are incapable of attributing common human values to anything. No opposition.

Meanwhile, the PM jets off on another luxury holiday only 35 days since returning from his last holiday.

Translated to "my mates and I are losing rent money because people have found that it's more productive for certain people to work from home"

Yep. And the businesses paying less in rates aren’t going to suddenly want to spend more are they?

So we are still in a fuel crisis in parts of the country. Food is regularly scarce on supermarket shelves. Gas prices are rocketing and the government made no provision to stockpile. Does that strike you as a good time for the so called leader of this dungheap of a country to jet off to sunny Spain? It’s dereliction of duty by the laziest PM in history.

If the PM can WFH in his Cornwall holiday cottage then a pleb like me surely can too

Lost 12 points in a year haven't they?

Wait until next April when the tax kicks in after the winter of price rises.

Johnson's fucked and he knows it.
Tories will just swap someone else in for Boris

Liz Truss currently leading the Tory polls as a replacement. With the added bonus that she can sort out the pig farming mess as she knows all about pork markets.
