Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Apart from no shadows, a dog which isn't attached to the lead, a mystery second lead attached to nothing and a scaling issue, crack on.
The Guardian also have another photograph from a different angle on its news page.

Those are either really shit trainers or he's running (well, kind of) in dress shoes. Seems sensible.

Fucking "British Rail" hat? Cunt for wearing that, alone

The absolute nick of him.

Why is he standing like a six year old who needs a wee? In what world do you "dress" yourself like that and leave the house?

Another great story from last week was when he had to isolate last time (which may or may not have been at another *convenient* moment, I can't remember). No 10 staff set everything up so he was more or less confined to his study and they could talk to him through an open door. But he kept walking out despite express instructions not to. So they had to stack up some chairs across the doorway to block him in. Literally what you have to do with a toddler.

Was that the time where he and Mr Sunak wanted to create new rules so that they didn't have to isolate? Strange that he wanted to carry on working on that occasion but apart from a jog in darkness in the park 'Big Dog' is hiding this time.

Have they just caught him leaving his shag pals house doing the walk of shame? So he broke into a trot to make him look like he's been out for a jog, and like the milkman in father ted he's going to round saying " jaysus Mary I've forgotten my feckin trousers"

He's just trying to brazen it out till he can announce the end of all covid restrictions in 2 or 3 weeks and show he's saved the country

The "restrictions" in England since December haven't impacted on anyone really though, people are well used to mask wearing now (or just don't bother), the work from home guidance is just that, guidance, so nothing there, hospitality still open, social distancing or limits on numbers meeting up isn't a thing, sport still going on, there's no great liberation there as in 2020 or 2021 and you can't keep banging on about vaccines forever, it's old news. It's not an easy win for him, in fact it's not any kind of win.

The story isn't going to disappear.

If he thinks us threatening to have the Navy machine gun immigrants in the sea or saying "we're going to hammer the BBC" will help him then he is very much deluded on that front. These aren't actually policies that anyone outside of serious headbangers believes in.

This is why I think the Tories are actually in pretty deep shit medium to long term. He's purged the reasonable ones who'd pull the party to the more popular centre. He was elected on a promise to sort Bexit and end austerity.

Brexit is done even though it'll continue to have ramifications for years to come. It's no good having someone like Johnson as the PM when you can install someone ultra right wing who'll try and take advantage of all the "benefits" of Brexit.

The problem is that whilst those benefits might sound great to someone like Steve Baker and his ERG mates, they won't be to the wider electorate. I think the referendum result itself might be seen by historians as the beginning of the decline of the Tory party, it's been riven by issues around Europe for years and Brexit itself is only the start.

David Frost resigning the other day citing the direction the Govt is taking in respect of our relationship with Europe shows it's far from a settled issue for them.

We can but hope, but sadly their decline is going to correspond to a decline for the country as a whole as a result of their extremist ideology.

Frost resigned officially because of Plan B Covid restrictions.

In his letter of resignation, Frost said that Brexit was “secure” but that the prime minister was aware of his “concerns about the current direction of travel,” hinting at differences over policy since Britain quit the European Union.

This is from his resignation letter:

Brexit is now secure. The challenge for the Government now is to deliver on the
opportunities it gives us. You know my concerns about the current direction of travel. I
hope we will move as fast as possible to where we need to get to: a lightly regulated, low-
tax, entrepreneurial economy, at the cutting edge of modern science and economic
change.
