Brentford 1-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Watched MOTD earlier. The blocking for their goal is really smart. It looks like Toney is unmarked, but when you watch it Donck would have comfortably got to him if they hadn't tag teamed to stop him. Nothing a ref is going to pick up and VAR won't look at that
I know, I didn't want to show too much appreciation for the move for fear of ridicule but I watched it about half a dozen times the following day and a somebody else said hope Tony Roberts made a note of it for another time

He didn't look completely out of his depth in his most recent sub (albeit brief).

That Neto has turned out to be a good signing perhaps gives me more patience than usual with Jordao.

Jordao has been injured for 11 months, would be a bit much to throw him into the start of an away Premier League game.

I doubt he'll have a career here mind you, but from what I've seen he's a solid enough player. if he stays fit will have a decent enough career I reckon.

Yep that was me. It was very well thought out. Blocked Donk but not fouled.

Yes they crowd Donk and stop him getting to the back post. I have no problem with that, it's a good plan. I hope Tony Roberts sticks it in his playbook.

Of course you're still relying on someone being able to volley a low shot into the corner from a 40 yard diagonal overhead pass. 9/10 times he fluffs it.
I still stick by the opinion that 9 times out of 10 Toney doesn't score directly from it.
