I assume Bruno will (deservedly) stick with Toti after his good showing against Saints. Other than that the team picks itself with Neves thankfully back. Unless he feels Traore deserves a start after his goal. Personally I'd stick with Trincao if Adama wants away.

Sa

Kilman - Coady - Gomes

Semedo - Moutinho - Neves - RAN

Trincao - Jimenez - Podence

Brentford aren't in great form. 1 win and 4 losses in their last 5 league games. Beating Villa and losing to Brighton and Southampton (4-1!!) in those losses.

That team for me too (with the one edit ;)).

Kin hell. That's my auto predict knowing I types Saiss after Coady every time

I have read someone suggesting a front 2 of Raul & Fabio with Podence operating a free role behind them (width coming from Semedo & RAN)

Not entirely sure about that, but wouldn't get angry if it was tried.

Rest of the team as The Bear put it.

Would be good to have Neves back as we did not have the same level of control.

This for me......would love us to get a spawny 0-1 win here with about 20% possession just to piss em off.........nah not really, a nice controlled, balanced performance with a win.

Assuming his 1st choice for last week would have been Donk at the back instead of Gomes, I would not be surprised if he did that this week - but either way it is great to actually have options.

I don’t think Trincao did enough to continue being picked, but then I’m not sure Adama has done enough to replace him. I’d still go with Adama just for the general fear factor.

Don't make the mistake of leaving us a man short in midfield against them again

Toney gave us a lesson that day. I don't expect he'll have free reign again.

Same team as Bear for me.

Toney won everything up front. The way he and Norgaard played, it's no wonder they gave us such a rough afternoon.

Brentford outplayed us for about 20 minutes at the end of the first half. Then with a mixture of decent defending and shithousing stopped us creating anything for the whole of the second half (they had a couple of breaks when we got desperate). We were poor going forward.
They're nothing special as has been shown since. Anywhere near our current form, we shouldn't be losing this game.

Watch the extended Southampton highlights. Trincao did well enough to keep his place. Linked well going forwards.

I'd love a 2-0 win with plenty of time wasting to wind their fans up.

Yes, this is one team I won't be disappointed to shithouse out of points. (That said, I'd sooner turn them over 5-0.) The bookies have us slight favourites for this, and I'm cautiously optimistic that we can continue our good run with another 3 points.

When Brentford beat West Ham this season the ball was in play for just 41 minutes such was their level of shithousery. I doubt it was much more in our game. You definitely don’t want to go behind against them that’s for sure.
