Same team again you'd think, though with the impact of Podence and Hwang off the bench, Trincao and Adama will know they have to perform. Would be great if Raul could get off the mark (I don't think he's been as bad as people have made out, he had plenty of rank games in the past for us too).

2017/18: W 3-0 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2016/17: W 3-1 (H), W 2-1 (A)
2015/16: L 0-2 (H), L 0-3 (A)
2014/15: W 2-1 (H), L 0-4 (A)
2013/14: D 0-0 (H), W 3-0 (A)

When we lose to these its usually a shocker isn't it.

When we forgot how to defend in 2014, the infamous Doc masterclass in 2015 and that loss away to them that season was the Jacketball nadir.

Dave Beasant in 1993.

That FUCKING defence. Blades-Mountfield*-Madden-Edwards. Imagine.

*I'll give Deek a pass, he was ok.

Amazingly still tickets available, despite it being "impossible" to get in, and it being way past when it went on sale to members...
Just had a look and there are only about 50 tickets left? And they're all in the £44.50 areas.

But it does show how cynical the idea of membership plus was, also shows that they have the pricing wrong.

I'd have gone to this game, but can't justify the cost when it's on TV.

I didn't say there were lots of tickets :D

But there are tickets. It isn't "impossible" to get to home games, people just like to make out it is when they don't go.

Yeah I agree, and usually you only hear them moaning when it's a game against a "big" club that they can't get a ticket for.

£44.50 for a game against Brentford is disgusting though, but i guess we will sell out.

Our prices are a genuine disgrace across the board. But y'know, Vinny and all that.

As I keep saying, it's fine to say "if you don't pay it, someone else will", until that someone isn't there, and then where has it left you.

Says a mug who still paid for a season ticket this year.

Well i definitely won't be going to as many games this season, the pricing is obscene.

Spurs will be my first game.

I know it was League One but pretty sure I paid £20 when we played Brentford in November 2013. That's some inflation.

(These being the days when I gave up my season ticket post-Saunders, but still went to every game. I was proving some kind of obscure point, I can't remember what it was now)

Bit misleading that, I was an hour late after the tickets went on sale to members and it was impossible to get 3 tickets together, so now I have to sit 15 seats away from my 2 kids who have to sit infront and behind each other, its hardly going to be an enjoyable experience and I only purchased them as I had promised my son them for his birthday.

The odd ticket is for sale in very random places but that is all that is left

Ah, I'm not saying we have thousands spare. But we are 1,000 or so seats down at the moment, it's four days before the game and you can still get one if you want.

It's the people who claim they can't possibly get tickets I'm getting at. Yes you can. Always have been able to. They might not be ideal but you can get in.

Or amazingly Brentford at home on a Saturday lunchtime clashes with their busy schedule.

I would like to see:

Sa
Kilman--Coady--Boly
Semedo--Neves--Moutinho--RAN
Trincao--Raul--Hwang
I fully expect Traore and Marcal to play but not what I'd want. Think Brentford will drop deep and double up on Traore as Watford did which nullifies his effectiveness. Hwang seems to be a genuine goalscoring threat so quick movement and through balls in tight spaces could work well for that front 3. RAN should offer more attacking threat.

I still don’t get the membership situation? They can’t get loyalty points anymore can they so there is no incentive to go to whatever game you can, for example Spurs on a weekday day in the cup or Brentford on TV.

The membership plus people will save it for the big games and then still get one for the less attractive games. Although having to pay for the privilege of the “plus” and then matchday prices every week will be insane costs.

I was impressed with Hwang's movement, i liked how central he was, it was refreshing to see a striker in the 6 yard box (i'm looking at you Jose), i can see him getting 5-10 goals just from being in the right place.

I would prefer RAN too, I'm not at all convinced by Marcal and i've been surprised by the rave reviews he's getting.

My dad and I are thinking we will go to the Saturday 3pm games as much as we can. We probably won't need to use the special "joker" thing for many/any of those games.

VIlla at home i will use it for i guess, beyond that i'm not sure we'll use all 6, as the games against Liverpool, City etc will likely be on TV and will be around 50+ quid a ticket, fuck that.

Marçal does a hell of a lot of covering. Really noticeable in person. With the centre halves stepping into midfield it's quite important.

He'll get suspended fairly soon though, absolute card machine.
How many does he have so far? 3 is it?

Apart from the odd personal circumstance people will always make the effort if they really want to go. I could juggle my diary to make the Spurs game next week, but it would be a pain so I won't bother. Everton on November 1st is an even bigger issue, but I'll find a way to make it fit one way or another because I really want to
