At last we have potential match winners on the bench. I think Bruno will start with Adama and Trincao again, then play Pod and Hwang against Spurs. Trincao has improved a lot in the past couple of games and Adama is either great or shit depending who you ask. I don't think he has done anything to deserve being dropped.

Brentford like to press and pass apparently, so I'm hoping for a good game!

I'd really like to see Raul get off the mark!

I haven’t got tickets for this, but I have got tickets for the Spurs cup game - and that will be my first game in the ground post lockdown (can’t wait!). The way the membership thing works now, I was able to get tickets for the cup game right in the middle of the north bank behind the goal (at the front of the upper section).

As for this match, we’ll be unchanged. Marcal was most likely to lose his place (IMO) but his two assists at the weekend will ensure he gets another start here.

They’ve looked alright so far, but we should be beating them comfortably.

I'd like to see Ait-Nouri involved as Marcal is boring me to death :D. Genuinely surprised he hasn't broken yet, so that's good

Guessing Lage doesn't think much of Dendoncker. Kinda feels like we have 2 midfielders! And neither of them are ever going to score a goal

Feels very Nuno with a few tweaks to me, but that is the club's fault

Might be similar /same players but its absolutely nothing like a Nuno team.

You must've been watching Ceefax.

The two teams are nothing alike in terms of style.

Can't help but want Ait-Nouri in the team but hard to argue against the job Marcal is doing. Same team with the same good options off the bench. Brentford have looked pretty solid so far so it'll be interesting to see how many chances we can create, hopefully Raul can break his duck.

What makes you think that? I'm certain we will see plenty of Dedoncker over the course of the season.

Just that we haven't seen much of him yet. Moutinho played the game out against Watford, thought he might have come on for a bit then

If he doesn't see him as much of an option in 3ATB next to Neves then it might push the club to move for someone in the winter window at least

Don't think we were as good against Watford (and United) but I can see us moving the ball quicker and trying to attack with intent more. Midfielders further forward, at times. Perhaps it's just the old formation and players that are making me think it at times. And it's only a few games into his job of changing the Nuno team. I'm no expert! Unfortunately I am old enough to remember checking scores on Ceefax though.

I'd love to see RAN playing. I know it may sound spoiled after Marcal's clean sheet and two assists on Saturday, but we lose so much momentum when the ball gets too him, and RAN is so good with the ball at his feet

Agree. 9 times out of 10 Marcal stops running forward and passes the ball back to Saiss. Which is frustrating because when he crossed the ball at the weekend we scored!

Surprised RAN hasn’t featured more but I suspect Bruno & his team are working on him behind closed doors.

Brentford have only conceded twice in their four league games so far . Played Arsenal , Palace , Villa and Brighton . Not top sides by any measure , but for a newly promoted team that's not bad .

I'd be taking nothing for granted at the weekend .

On the other hand it strikes me that what would really steady us in these games with the present system is an early goal . Get one in the first 30 minutes and we'll be hard beaten after that . An early goal forces the opposition to stop playing deep and come out and play .
Doesn't have to be a good goal either , anything will do .
