Guess who their manager was from the comments, Leopards etc:

"Paul McShane said he got a nudge and that's why he handled it.
"It wasn't a foul but it was enough for him to lose balance and lurch forward which meant his arm went up.

"But I thought we still did enough to win the game because we played better than Wolves, we just didn't take any of the chances we made"

Ooh we're on the Beeb. Cue lingering shots of the Burnley skyline and twenty minutes of Tarkowski's face.

I love how we spend years trying to get into the Premier League (and stay there), and now scores of people are brushing games off as 'irrelevant' 😅
In terms of our overall season, it is irrelevant, if you want to dwell on 11th versus 12th position and an extra 2,000,000 then OK.
BUt this season has been what it has been, we survived when there are times we (many of us) suffered a tightened sphincter, so me, I am thinking let's have a look when it matters least, not halfway through next season.
Donk as a defensive mid is a no brainer for me. Neves despite his abilities in that role is needed further forward, with vitinha's legs next to him, who knows. As for corbeanu we have talked the talk let's have a fucking look when it won't cost us so much.

It's a relevant game in terms of seeing how the younger players do again - assuming they are selected . They showed promise last time around which was very encouraging . It's the freshness we have missed for quite a while .

Moutinho on the bench for the remaining games I think.

I'm desperate for Moutinho to stay next season, If he left without the chance to send him off I'd be gutted. I'm excited about the future but it's going to be so bizarre watching Wolves when he does eventually move on. Like Tredman says, the best Wolves player (maybe tied with Raúl) I've ever seen.

I reckon we could get another year out of Moutinho, but mainly using him as an experienced back up option off the bench.

Whether he wants to stick around in Wolverhampton to do this role for another year of his career would be the big question mark.

Agree with the comments above, though. Best Wolves player I have ever seen.

I'd love it if that happened, but suspect he'll want to go some where he can play regularly

Aye, sitting on the bench just doesn't suit the man. He'd be tearing his hair out wanting to get involved. :icon_lol:

We've asked a hell of a lot from him over the past 3 seasons though. He's played a ridiculous amount of football for someone his age, with very few breaks, so I could understand why he'd want to see off his career in a less demanding league at a club where he's quite rightly adored.

I would have thought Moutinho woud be chomping at the bit to play every minute of our last four games to prove his fitness for the Euros.

I’m assuming next season it’ll revert back to the TV games on Saturday lunch, evening, Sunday and MNF.
Probably go back to having 3-4 PL Saturday 3pm kick offs each weekend.
Pretty sure we’ll have a lot considering no Europe, 2 local derbies and us being pretty boring this season.
