We'll be arriving around noon (The Drummer and his Dad) in Wolverhampton.
Where do you guys meet up these days? Still in the Western?
And where do you go afterwards?
And finally, anyone fancy a Curry in the evening?

There's a split so you need to decide who your real friends are Paddy, Langers and co are the Western, Deutsch, Kenny etc the London. Decisions, decisions [emoji2]

Am up & staying over (couldn't be arsed with driving back the same day) so will be around for the evening

Should be up in town by 12.30 - 1pm depending on how early I get up & whether the M5 has no traffic jams.

Have to say I think jota will miss saturday

Costa sounded more on it today than other times I have seen him this season so maybe not the loss it might have been earlier in the season

We should still be able to beat Burton at home

I think it will be a blessing in disguise (as long as it's not too serious obvs) for Diogo and the team. He could do with a rest and we can manage without him for Burton and the break.

It looked like a fracture to me, from the way he didn't want to put any pressure on it.

There’s no way to tell instantly whether it’s fractured, sprained or torn. It will be swollen and hurt like shit. X Ray will rule out the fracture, then an MRI will tell you if he’s torn something. Will be 3-4 weeks minimum anyway

If it's ligaments his season is over to all intents. Sprain and 3 weeks he'll be available.

Looked like ligaments to me if it is the case that's him done for the season. Fingers crossed its not.

We have agreed a deal for him in the Summer window so maybe a Costa style injury before the season end to ensure that no other side thinks about trying to bid for him - trifle early possibly

It does help in that respect, long as he's OK and doesn't miss too much then it could be a blessing. MGW moves up a notch in the pecking order and we still have Bright to call on so I'm not that worried.

You think he's broken something?

You don't walk anywhere and you get carried off if you've fractured an ankle. A sprain is a stretch of the ligaments and is in varying degrees, could well be that. Tendons attach muscle to bone so popping a tendon tends to be worse than a break, particularly in the ankle area.

Id be surprised if they walked Jota off if he had a fracture. It's weird how he's been battered and been fine and something which looked innocuous has hurt him.

He's a tough bastard and will be back soon

If it was a metatarsal fracture, players usually still stand on the foot. It'll be ankle. Sprain or ligaments.

He's posted on instagram- looks swollen but free of any support (40 mins ago). Im going to say he isn't out for too long
