Climate Change Debate

we have the delights of extinction rebellion in Cambridge doing what they do. Successfully alienating many peoples support by committing crimes of damage and vandalism whilst blocking a main trunk route to addenbrookes hospital causing emergency vehicles to have to detour. The police initially did the square root of fa and justified their inaction by citing a persons right to protest under the Human Rights act. After a number of people asked what the police response would be if a family of travelers had moved into the same place and blocked the road the police seem to have done a bit of back peddling with several being arrested for damage offences including the digging up of Trinity College Lawn.

Another day in paradise.

There are so many abuses of carbon footprint.

Champions league finals involving 2 teams from the same country yet held miles away
Conferences on global warming where every person and their entourage attends by plane, unless youre Greta Thunberg and you sail there but blow your brownie points by flying the pilot in to take you home.
 
I find the Greta Thunberg hate bizarre. In most instances, it tends to say more about the person that dislikes her.
 
The only thing that surprises me is that she's 17 when she looks about 12.
 
No doubt he thinks she's being controlled by her parents.
 
Greta this, Greta that, she's so wonderful, she's such an icon, she is holding the last generation to account. Her first message got my attention. Since then she has been wheeled out and over hyped by far too many people in power keen to jump on the " we must do something" band wagon while they all sit down to their steak dinners and plan their next holiday by private jet. Yes , I can make sweeping assumptions too!

Safe and secure .

Now imagine hearing that from someone in politics every time they spoke. It becomes tedious and tiresome even if the message originally was completely warranted.

Wonder what her opinion is on the current state of air travel in the world.
