Nice one. Got a Lidl a stone's throw from my house so will give it a bash.

Can't get beyond a kettle and Alta Rica still.

50/50 blend of these two. Not the best. Good flavour, but seems a little muted. I think they cancelled each other out.

It's coffee. Cancelling itself out is a blessing. Fourth cup of tea of the morning just hitting the mug now.

I've gone off coffee, just stick to tea now in a morning, water throughout the day, and a Hot Chocolate at night.

I like coffee but decaf only nowadays. Too much caffeine in one hit and it goes straight through me.

Ooof. Big bastard, this.

Just signed up for Pact Coffee and received my first pods & drip coffee:

https://www.pactcoffee.com/

Had two pods so far and they are great, better than the proper nespresso ones.

Got a AeroPress for my birthday. Had a brew with it this morning. It produced a really good coffee. As good as a cafetiere, but in half the time and it practically cleans itself. Fucking brilliant. If you're a solo coffee drinker I hugely recommend one.

Fresh coffee goes in that cylinder on top of the mug - there's a filter at the bottom. Half fill with 80°c water, stir for 10-15 seconds then plunge the other bit down for about 30-60 seconds. Top up the mug with more water and milk to taste. Really bloody lovely!

Just can't get past a good ol' french press myself, though I've wanted to dabble in Turkish coffee for a while.

I've got an aeropress, it's dust gathering with my numerous other coffee brewing methods :(

I did find the inverted aeropress method off youtube very good, it's just not as quick as using my nespresso machine!

Inverted AeroPress Method, you say?

Off to YouTube I go!

It's hard to justify the time and cleaning regime for just one cup though.

I need to advance, and quickly.
