Comedians

huh. a GI Jane reference was the most exciting thing to happen at the Oscars in years. who knew.

reg d hunter was brilliant last night. Loved it.
Criminal how many empty seats there were though. The man deserves better.

Just been to see Jimmy Carr Terribly Funny. Obviously not everyone's cup of tea, but a cracking show, not just the scripted stuff, but the audience interactions too.

Jerry Sadowitz is touring again.
Everyone needs to see one of his shows at least once. It's a true experience! His comedy is dark, and dangerous to be sure.
If you get lucky enough to see one of his magic shows, he is one of the best sleight of hand/card magicians out there!

Only noticed today but Stewart Lee has a new TV series out - Snowflake.

Sundays 10:35pm on BBC.

Ep1 was last Sunday, which is on iPlayer.

It's his most recent live show I think. Second half is next Sunday. We went to see it pre-lockdown.

Went to see Dave Gorman at the Lowry with Quirk last night.

A superb 2 and a bit hours from the man with a powerpoint addiction.

Did some great timing though as I failed to spot the United home game and got to Salford at around 2.40pm...then the combination of Utd fans and Salford roads being rebuilt, spent 50 mins travelling the final 1 mile to the Quays.

reminds me of the good friday trip I made to manc to see james, with both utd and city at home on the same day. almost a 5 hour journey!

Back on topic, looking forward to seeing dara o'Briain friday. Each show I have seen im do has been a masterclass.

debated going to Jon Richardson. Mrs jelly ain't a fan, so we passed. Hope you enjoy it mate!
to be fair though, we're off to a bonfire/fireworks saturday (dara is friday), then off to sigur ros monday, and this weekend is also our wedding anniversary, so there is enough going on!

Big Pete has broke the internet

and that's just for 02 priority tickets.

He will proper break it on Saturday when the rest go on sale

O2 have just said it's the highest demand they've seen in 15 years. Madness

Some people have got hold of tickets and you can buy them on Viagogo for just over £1000

he's announced something like 1 date at 6 or 7 venues, however all dates are a couple of weeks apart, so he's bound to have extra dates released saturday morning like last time.

mrs jelly is saying she's not bothered after the disappointment of last time. but I don't believe her, and know I'm gonna have to try to get her tickets saturday.
