Coronavirus

I’ve got my Vaccine tomorrow. Most my colleagues were getting it today. Getting the Pfizer one done in Bilston so don’t have to wait to the end of the month and don’t have to travel to Coventry either.

Makes me feel bad that I’m getting it and there are 92 year olds who have not had it who need it far more than me. I can only assume it’s a logistical issue which has meant that to be the case as I can travel to the site rather than bringing the vaccine to me.

Just a quicky folks
So as some if you may know my sister had surgery back in November
She's still currently in hospital in Birmingham
My niece just stated she's pretty poorly according to the Dr
Whats the protocols on hospital visits right now?
Cheers

Don't feel guilty not like you've pushed yourself in front of a queue is it, I'd say everyone should get it as soon as offered. Hopefully it gives you a bit more piece of mind and more importantly starts protecting you ASAP.

Do they tell you which one your getting then? I'm hoping I can hold out for the one jab one just cuz I hate needles! Ha.

They must tell you or pass that info on if you ask as it seems a lot of people are rejecting the Pfizer one as they want the British one

Those fines to the two women in Derbyshire who travelled five miles for a walk have been rescinded.

Nothing at all to do with Jellybelly being found to have gone further than that yesterday (for absolutely no reason, Hyde Park is about two miles away FFS) of course.

I see both sides of the argument here. Seven miles is not far for me to be away from home on my bike, it's a little over 20 minutes' riding; you'd also say it's local in a car (not exercise, granted) and if you ran regularly, that might not be considered obscene either. However, with so much room for interpretation and potential for prosecution it's unmanageable and I for one do not want to feel guilty while I'm flogging myself silly and trying not to get mown down by motorists.

The blindingly simple solution is to say 'you must stay within X kilometres/miles of your home while exercising,' and then work to that strict limitation.

I only know it’s the Pfizer one due to my colleagues having it. You only find out when they give you the consent form.

The suggestion (which they emphatically have not denied) is not that he cycled for seven miles from Downing Street to the Olympic Park and then back again. It's that he was driven the seven miles to the Olympic Park and then tootled around there for a bit looking like a moron, because that's where he fancied going and rules are for other people.

I've been half done (sounds like a vets trip).
Needle hurt more and my arm ached more for a few days, otherwise just like a flu jab but have to sit down for a while after it.

MIL, sllght improvement, her temperature has gone down, and her breathing is better than it was.

She's a farmer's daughter, a tough ole gal, who hasn't really had any kind of illness in her 92 years. Who knows, just got to take one day at a time.

Can't say enough about some of the staff, they have been wonderful.

WHO SHOULD I BE ANGRY AT

These people and I include Piers Morgan, Alan Sugar, Louise Mench, Toby whatshisname and the like are just oxygen thieves posting on a platform so you get angry precisely because that is what drives their income streams and visibility.

I don't bother with them as life is too short to be giving scum like that my time and energy.

I don't think anyone is angry at either tbh.

Just we don't like the fat cunt saying one thing and doing another. He didn't cycle seven miles either. He was driven seven miles because he likes that park better.

Also why was he cycling in a suit, on a Sunday?

Does the British one come in a blue syringe?
