No the tiered one is nonsense from what I can see. The social mobility of the population kills the tiered system stone dead.

It was always a nonsense and a sticking plaster on the abysmal track and trace shambles.
Your initial point didn't say it was nonsense though did it you said you'd rather everyone just stick to a full lockdown. The attitude of just because we have to suffer everyone else should makes no sense.

Agree track and trace and the way tiered system is/has been handled is poor but the idea of a tiered/geographical split system does make perfect sense.

I really hope you're not being a minge teasing bastard!
I've been called many things in my like but this is a first!!

Only repeating what I saw at the end of last week. Whether its true or not is another matter but they are ready to start from next week in care homes should the approval come in

(Reuters) - Britain could give regulatory approval to Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine this week, even before the United States authorises it, the Telegraph news site reported on Sunday.

Citing government sources, it said British regulators were about to start a formal appraisal of the vaccine, made by Pfizer Inc and BioNTech SE, and that the National Health Service had been told to be ready to administer it by Dec. 1.

Not great news

Apparently AstraZeneca are likely to conduct another global trial to judge the efficacy of their COVID-19 vaccine. However, this new trial should not hold up regulatory approval in the UK/EU.

Kind of good news, its clear its effective to some degree while they argue/re trial over how effective get it in people!

I believe the AstraZeneca one is the only one thats been judged to stop transmission as well as symptoms too. Thinking longer term thats gotta be a huge plus point!

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Wolverhampton is 14 out of 160 local authorities for the most Covid cases in the last 7 days

I did think Slough was a strange exclusion, thinking about it now Berkshire would include Windsor, Ascot etc so makes perfect sense

Looking at this the rest of Staffs is fucked:

Don't forget that famous charity school Eton is that way as well, can't have the toffs and future prime ministers not being able to strut around looking down on the poor can we

"Exclusive: No.10 'Demanded UK Flag Be Printed On Oxford Vaccine Doses'"

Presume that adds a few more % numbers to the safety of the vaccine

Wolverhampton down to 19th from 14th in the Covid cases worst offenders list

Just a shame this one can't be transported around enough to get to care homes
