Coronavirus

Least effective - no, last I saw sinovac has that by some way. Most dangerous is a ridiculous term to use, and by doses administered also not true I think - that honour goes to the J&J one.
Never even heard of the Sinovac one... In my head the only ones that exist are the Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, and AZ.

Last I heard, the AZ causes the clotting much more often than the J&J while also having slightly lower rates of effectiveness (still north of 90%, though). Hard to know what's true, to be fair.

"Most dangerous" was a poor choice of words on my part.

Sorry, let me rephrase myself to be clearer. Calling the AZ vaccine "not quite good enough" is talking shit. It has an efficiency above expectations of a vaccine and has a miniscule risk of causing clots, much lower than other prescription medicines. It is also easier to store and transport, one of the reasons it has had greater usage in other countries, as well as being not for profit.

You aren't saying anything I don't agree with.

But you still think the AZ vaccine is "not quite good enough"? It's okay to admit you were wrong if you were talking shit you know?

Christ. You weren’t kidding. Arrived just as I got to work at six. Feeling a touch second hand shall we say.
Load up on the allowed levels of Ibruprofen / Paracetamol and it will get you by until the symptoms wear off.

Didn't help that the needle was the largest I've ever had stuck in me, by a huge margin.
Ah, the old “the needle is THIS big tale”

Remember the same story spreading round school like wildfire when you found out you were all off to the nurses room for an injection you didn’t know anything about.

Don’t know if they randomly inject kids now without any prior knowledge or parent approval.

I felt a little lethargic yesterday evening. Had an ache in the arm, and across the back. Quite mild.
Had a decent nights kip, and woke up with an aching arm where they gave me the jab, and a light headache.

Yeah I had a bit of a sore arm for a day, which is unusual for me cos I am so 'hard' didn't have any of the headaches/chills that everyone else seems to get

Likewise, I’m rock-hard as not even a sniffle afterwards even though the nurse delivered it via a javelin she threw into my arm from t’other side of room.

Scotland lifting the travel restrictions for the rest of the UK from Monday. Means I can pop over the border next month then, happy days

You were lucky to get a nurse, think it was an ex pneumatic drill operator did mine

Pleased for my sons inlaws, they have only seen their daughter and grandson once since xmas 2019

I figured I must’ve had the YTS girl administering mine. Either that or they called someone off car park duty to cover the lunchtime shift.
Must be quite a nifty technique to it as it is generally pretty painless, but did feel a bit like a knitting needle was being rammed home. Hoping for better luck with second. Just one of those things I guess.
Second due 1st June, onwards and upwards.

It's the message it sends.

"Hey we're keeping the best ones, you can have the ones we don't want."

It's shitty optics, simple as.

It likely seems more severe from an American perspective as we've given our AZ shipments to Mexico and Canada, all the while parroting that we don't think AZ is safe enough for regular Americans. Do you see what I'm saying now?

If you think that these injections are with large needles they are nothing like the one I had when I was 11 for a liver infection - was as if the doctor was using a javelin
