Coronavirus

Bookings open for over 21's and they are making changes to the online booking where you can see available slots before cancelling current appointments (no clue when that goes live though)

People were more polarising back in the day I think, hard to judge over time.
I absolutely hated Thatcher (and I hardly ever use that word) but looking back now, I think she was what was needed at the time, we were in a bit of a state after Wilson, Heath, Callaghan.
Not sure how we would have seen any of them with todays media/social media and most politicians seem to think they need to be 'celebraties'.
Politicians seemed to take politics more 'seriously back in the day..... maybe its rose tinted specs

Double hard bartard that I am I seem to have had no side effects to my second dose. I do now have duplicated dose 2s in my vaccine record though which I can foresee being a problem with stupid US border people.

My other half was able to rebook her 2nd appointment before cancelling her existing one last night. That was probably due to her existing appointment being booked via the Royal Wolverhampton Trust booking site and not directly via the NHS site though. Once she had booked her second appointment on the NHS site, she went onto the Royal Wolverhampton Trust booking site to cancel her existing jab.

Don't worry, we are never opening travel corridor again...

(apparently some news on it next week. Clinging on to my USA trip take 3 at the moment.

I was fine after my second dose too. Felt pretty rough after the first one but, apart from feeling a tiny bit spaced out on Monday, I felt ok this time.

Called my GP and am booked in for the J&J single dose on Friday. Anyone had it yet and know what to expect?
Had it and was fine next day apart from very mild headache in the morning and bit lethargic in the evening.
Then again knew someone who had it on a Friday, was sound on the Saturday then was fucked from Sunday morning till tuesday evening.

So i was no help there.

They do better eye tests over there though

and Mr Test My Eyesight by Driving is back

Why has no-one ever told him just to belt up a bit?

I mean there's some fairly damning stuff in there for both Hancock and Johnson but no-one is going to read it properly as it just rambles on forever. Either split it up properly or learn how to edit.

Summary is - Johnson is a liar. Thinks Hancock is fucking useless. Thought about replacing him with Gove. Johnson is a liar.

Ooh, he has WhatsApp messages. This isn't going to end well:

Oh and Johnson's PM plan is to stick around for a max of 2 years after the next election so he can go off, have fun and make money.

Obviously at the next election he will win with an increased majority for reasons unknown

Cheers DG, would rather have a couple of workdays in the bin than the weekend but will have to take it as it comes, anything's possible I guess
