I couldn't agree more. Respect to those who set up these places because whatever their motives it's useful. I can't actually remember Visage commenting on anything football related so why would you do this? Kenny just seems like the kid who'd put his fingers in the custard, smacked and given extra servings. Maybe this is bit of an earner .. or an ego trip. The bannings are really unnecessary on here - the main point of communication between us and the club being the MolMix.

A whole new debate. Are you referring to Hillsborough either explicitly or as part of a wider stereotyping of Liverpool supporters?

The reason I ask is that there were 96 victims who died at Hillsborough, 100s more victims injured, their families were also victims, Liverpool supporters were often referred to as being victims for pursuing justice and lo and behold they were victims of a massive injustice.

THM is a repetitive but committed supporter of a political decision.

Not sure the two are reasonably comparable.

But absolutely a subject that belongs in a thread about corruption. Back on topic now.

Would you like a link to MolMix? Personally I thought it had become a poisonous place and some of those banned from there seem to suffer a similar fate on here. Maybe it isn't the forums that are the problems?

No forum, whatever the subject, takes kindly to a previously banned poster trying to evade their ban by re-registering which it seems is what ProgWolf did. Good riddance to him, twice in recent weeks he started issuing veiled threats to other posters - no matter what the provocation that is never acceptable.

Fine, you think this place is a clique - you are not forced to post on here. You do so of your own free will. You aren't going to change the make up of this place, you aren't going to change the style of moderating and you obviously aren't going to change your opinion of this place. So why are you here?

There's a few of us on here who rub each other up the wrong way but most of the time we just get on with it and ignore those that we have to. I know there's a few in here who won't engage with me and likewise me with them. It went wrong but the world kept turning, opinions kept churning and the forum keeps going.

I'll take this place over the other place 365 days of the year.

You do realise I am not an anti-Semitic neo-Nazi don't you? Do you ? I would have thought given the cut and thrust of my debate over the years I am anything but .. yeah fine, have a party and accept difference in opinion but somewhere along the line and given the handbags there has to be a modicum of respect.

Shame, because when he first appeared he was offering some decent comment but as time went on it was clear he was being deliberately provocative.

Respect is earned. Different people will respect different posters for different reasons. Cyberwolf seems to be well respected by many because of the way he handles himself when faced with disagreement. Others are the architects of their own situation.

I'm of the opinion that a forum is here for debate and that it's encouraged.

The issue comes when either somebody repeatedly posts the same opinions over and over and doesn't back anything up or answer challenges to opinions, or posts utter crap, gets pulled up on it and then gets aggressive and offensive.

Cyber is a great example - I personally don't agree with some of his opinions, I'm sure he doesn't agree with some of mine - however he backs his ideas and views up with logical thought and some evidence and I'd like to think I reciprocate. We may not agree but I respect his right to his views and opinions, and feel he puts them across well. IMO Prog posted a lot of nonsense, didn't back anything up and then kicked off when people challenged him.

Nope, fair points about Progwolf and I'll accept that. No, you didn't call me that and I was just hoping that if that was the way I came across somebody 'who I respect' would tell me. It's a strong accusation. I will always try to back up my opinion with some article but as Penk said somewhere else if there is no agreement then it's futile keep harping on (or words to that effects).

Just to confirm, Prog sent an e-mail questioning his ban, but used a different e-mail address to what he had signed up with, that e-mail address had been banned twice previously, one for being 'Angry' and one for being a sock puppet.

Anything else about his ban is irrelevant.
