Crystal Palace (H) 30/10 Build-up & Match Thread

The way the game goes these days, going in with a straight leg you're always going to be showing studs so you've got to be completely clean. As soon as you catch your opponent you know there can be trouble, even if you get something on the ball as he did then.

Wow. Ayew losing possession and just fucks off caring.

He's so much worse than his elder brother it's unreal.

This performance tonight just makes that late equaliser against Newcastle all the more frustrating. We could have been heading two points clear at the top of the league.

Don't think he meant it, to be fair. He's just too slow and it became the horrendous tackle we saw.

Can't we just be happy for an hour?

Excellent result, excellent performance, well done boys!!

fab debut by Ait Nouri, and I thought Neto and Semedo had super games (everyone else played well too!)

Great win! ..and we played more positive and faster...we should have trashed newcastle if we came with this attitude in that game

Well that was a fun evening. A couple of VAR decisions went for us but both were correct. Two good goals. A great debut from RAN. Happy Friday!

I much prefer it when our good half is the first one!

Best performance for a while, though, and we look SO much better with attacking wingbacks on both sides. I hope RAN’s in for the long-haul.

Blame the referee for being a bellend

Enjoyable stuff. We weathered their response early in the 2nd half and controlled it once we saw that out. I honestly thought Moutinho's ankle was broken in that challenge.

We need to score early in this one and draw Palace out. Hodgson has got them playing on the quick counter, but as the post above says that's predicated on Zaha rediscovering his form. Same 11 for me, except for Ait Nouri at LWB. I expect it to be Marcal for Kilman with Saiss shuffling over though. I wouldn't make specific plans for Zaha, just play our own game well
Boom
