We will have quite a clear picture of what we need to do from the last two games as we are the last to play but fair to say this is must win! Would take us to 59 points as well which would obviously mean we will have bettered last seasons total.

Our game away at Palace was arguably the turning point to get ourselves back on track. It was a good performance, we played much better football and we got the late equaliser we needed.

This would be my team:
Patricio

Boly Coady Saiss

Jonny Moutinho Neves Vinagre

Podence Jimenez Jota

I think where we play Jonny may depend on where we expect Zaha to play. He got Saiss sent off last season and if we stop him then they haven't got a great deal else.

Could see Traore starting ahead of Podence or Jota too.

Palace are in rank form but the pessimist in me does worry that they could come into our game having lost their last six :D

I'll go 2-0 to us. Hopefully get an early ish goal!

Palace are shit but they always seem to give us problems. Better than us for large spells in the 1-0 last year, beat us at Molineux and then we obviously had that fairly spawny equaliser this season.

Only change I'd make to your team would be Dendoncker in for Moutinho as I thought Dendoncker/Neves really clicked Vs Everton.

Big, big job for Nuno. Yesterday felt like the Cup Semi again, I still feel kicked in the stomach now so the players will be twice as bad. After that we were poor at Southampton, we don't have that luxury this time.

Patricio

Boly Coady Saiss

Jonny Donk Neves Vinagre

Adama Jimenez Jota

For me.

Could be our single most important game in years, this one. We win, or we probably don't see Europe next year. No pressure!

Guita made some great saves in the first half back in September and we should have been ahead at half time.

Patricio
Doherty Boly Coady Saiss Otto
Dendoncker Neves
Neto Jimenz Jota

Not sure they were that much better than us at Selhurst Park last season. Was at the game and if I remember right Palace had the one opportunity where Patricio had to make a double save but otherwise created nothing despite having most of the ball, we were very comfortable out of possession. Handled us pretty well in the reverse fixture for sure though, even if the goal was offside.

I'd like to see the same team as started against Everton but Vinagre in for Doc. Palace were pretty flat against Villa, have lost their last 5 and only scored once. One of two teams to have scored less first-half goals than us. Benteke suspended also but not sure that will make any difference to be honest. I'm not worried about this lot, but it's a question of whether we can break them down. Simply have to win this game if we want a chance of European football next year, could do with some favours from Leicester.

Bad injury for Van Aanholt it seems

Playing Jonny and Vinagre as wing backs is an attractive thought but I suspect that it will require Dendoncker to play as neither Jonny or Vinagre can fulfil the role that Doherty is given for corners and wide free-kicks. Given the performance against Everton, there must be a good case for Dendoncker to start anyway.

Well, I'm probably the only one who'd do this, but it's a game we have to win. I'm not going to worry about Zaha, as watching last night I think he'd just target whichever side he thought was weaker. So:

Rui

Boly - Coady - Saiss

Adama - Neves - Donk - Jonny

Pod - Raul - Neto

This team for me too. Doherrty has been poor lately so moving Jonny over makes sense. Palace are fairly solid so I like the option of bringing Traore on after an hour if required, as I suspect he may be.

playing adama as wing back v burnley was an attempt to deal with their attempts to use their width. we played a fairly attacking formation to push back mcneil, giving him too much to do defensively.

zaha, and to an extent ayew is a very different prospect. they're intelligent players who can pull wide and get people out of position. Adama would be the wrong choice for wing back in this game. We'd be leaving Boly potentially very exposed, and in his current form I don't think that's a good idea.

2 of the traditional 3 wing backs for me.

----Boly---Coady---Saiss----
Doc---Donk---Neves---Jonny

That's what I would go for.

Same but I think Nuno will play Mout instead of Donk

Think I'd play the same side as started against Everton

Personally don’t really think it makes much difference what side we play as long as we play positively on the front foot like Everton.

I think Podence is better when we’re in possesion and Jota better on counter. I think Traore will also be more effective from the bench, but not against him starting. Think Doc has been rubbish but depends if we want to move Jonny over. I think the Dendoncker Neves partnership worked well against Everton too.

So as long as Podence and Donck start I’m not to bothered what rest of team is.
