Desert Island Crisps

Just having a packet of Hobgoblin - Spit Roast Steak. It's made by Wychwood in association with Burts crisps and they are fantastic.

New addition to my top 5, even maybe the top 3:

Aged White Cheddar Lentil Chips. Used for dipping in chunky Ghost Pepper Salsa. Yum.

Crisps here are called Lays, well the best ones, and I am assuming they are walkers, judging by the taste, flavours on offer and the packaging.

A couple of days ago coming back from Athens and stuck in the bus station for an hour or two, i picked up a packet of Lays , extra wavy, sweet barbecue crisps.

Absolutely magic!

Quinoa crisps/chips in Aldi. They taste just like Nibbitts we used to get as a kid :)

Whoa! What? Nibbitts crisps? As in nibbetts wheelz?

Not even sure how its spelt, Nibbitts, Nibbetts, Nibitts , anyway they used to be in a white packet with red lettering and had a long in length shape to them. Plain potato flavour but they were lovely. Me grandad used to pop round on a Sat afternoon with a bag of them and a bag of sherbet dip for me....ermm like 46 years ago. Funny how you never forget certain things.

Not quite.
The best (only) image I can find is this:

Tried the Tikka crisps, honestly I wasn't impressed, I much preferred the Brazilian chicken, they actually tasted like roast chicken we have back in the UK!
(However we have recently stocked up on prawn cocktail and cheese and onion!)

And I can't believe it was only me who remembered Nibblets! Used to get a glass of weak pop and a bag of these every Saturday night down Dowtys whilst playing on 1 of the 2 "arcade" machines by the front door!

I loved em on a butty! Not tried the Brazilian yet.

Hahaha we used to go to the club in Fordhouses, on the Stafford Rd, bag of crisps and an orange... unless some kind soul used to sneak us a beer. Them were the days!
