I've had Edge Of Seventeen in my head since Monday when it came on the radio.

"Just like the white winged dove, sings a song, sounds like she's singing...."

Great. I’m going to be singing the sausage roll version of that song all day now.

Just found this thread. There's always a song in my head.

Today it's Jilted John. Would it get played on the radio nowadays? There's a homophobic slur.

Absolute classic line of "I was so upset that I cried all the way to the chip shop"

Watched a programme on 1960's music on BBC4 a few days ago. Now I cant get this song out of my head:-

Ooh, a storm is threatening
My very life today
If I don't get some shelter
Ooh yeah I'm gonna fade away

War, children
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
War, children
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away

The re runs of TOTP have hit the 1990's on BBC4 and as with any era there was some right shite in the charts. How Status Quo managed to get so high with guff like the Anniversary Waltz part 987 I'll never know!

As for the earworm of the last few weeks...
Twenty 4 Seven featuring Captain Hollywood - I cant stand it

Never have lyrics of "I can't stand no more, no, no, no more" been so apt.
