Earworms

This morning, got out of bed and Irene Cara's Fame started on repeat in me head. No idea why.

I very rarely get these. It's usually something I've heard that day if one gets stuck in my head.

Mine really are entirely random things that come into my head as soon as I wake up. Usually something I've not heard in a long time. And it tends to be out of my head by the time I'm at work. I'm guessing it's something to do with the brain amusing itself when it hasn't had much stimulus during the night.

The music from Sonic - Emerald Hills was in my head on the way home...

Was humming My Life by Billy Joel for about an hour today, before Mrs. Trips turned round and told me shut up as I'd been humming it since leaving a shop. Hadn't even realised it was on when in there

Song for Guy by Elton John this morning. Fuck knows why, I haven't heard that song since I was a kid.

The only Billy Joel song I ever get stuck in my head is For The Longest Time. Love that song.

There is a Light That Never Goes out by the Smiths. Briefly morphed into The Heat is On by Glenn Frey when my wife asked me if the heating was on, but is now back to the Smiths one.

The River of Dreams is Billy Joel's finest hour. It's now stuck in my head, cheers.

In the middle of the night...

Sail Away by Enya.

You bastard, Vis.

One of the tracks of C Duncan's architect album...

I've now got 'Sail Away' welded into my head. Some ones gonna die !!
