Ever changing face of Wolves

When I used to use the Brittania it was called the Victoria [I think], Weatherspoons was still the co-op and the Premier Inn didn't exist. Talk about a changing face.
Yep, it was the Victoria.

J. Dixon & Son Ltd want to flog off warehouse buildings that have been vacant for over 12 years. This has raised a number of concerns from local and national conservation groups, who fear the modern development will blight the surrounding area’s historic character.

shopped a lot in oldies, more so when they were up by where the way is now. not been in since they moved to where they are now.
amazed there is no "landmark" in the article mind...
Aye, sad to see them shutting up. I've been in once since they moved but spent many Saturdays in there as a youth in the old store, picking up my PWEI tapes amongst many others

Also spent a fair few hours in the shop upstairs and had a (very brief) nose piercing, buying the 'legal highs' I don't think any of them worked🤪

Probably bought 90% of the vinyl I own form the shop in Worcester Street but it's been 20 odd years since I went in there, didn't even know it had moved. I used to love the catalogues, I'd sit there for hours on a Saturday afternoon marking the records I wanted.

It says new bus stops. As the area in the artists impression is currently one big rank of bus stops from before the Posada until almost at HSBC and none are shown I would like to know where they are going.

Looks like a fair chunk of Horsley fields will be available for redevelopment after burning down last night.

Lots of Cambridge taxis are licensed in Wolverhampton. I always wondered why.
