Everton 0-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

I mean, totally different roles, but f he's going to one of the big money teams we should absolutely rinse them. Personally think he's got Juve written all over him

Football is ace.

Not a chance you would have back us to win the next to with an agg of 5-0 at FT v Palace

Also I guess Watford fans didn't expect to be so shit v us after a spirited performance v Arsenal and then I doubt they expected to rock up at Southampton and win today.

Laugh as much as you wish Johnny but he is better than that short socked wanker that went to Manchester City
I don't think Neves has a £100m clause in his contact.

And Villa weren't selling him for less than that.

Neves is worth a lot but he isn't going for £100m

Really, really looking forward to the Leeds game. RAN in for Marcal, Neto back in from the start… let’s have a first half under the lights like Dec (?) 17 :)

Much as people have laughed mate he would really be an asset to any top team, don't give a fuck who they are. He's absolutely magnificent, name someone you'd rather have in our midfield and tot up how much they'd cost. He'll win major honours with someone someday. This post may be Axe Edge fuelled but it's fucking spot on.

After their result against Spurs it was always going to see a reaction and for 30 minutes Everton huffed and puffed and we allowed this as we didn’t start with a higher press or tempo
Once they had burnt themselves out we managed to get some control and very impressed with the second half and managed the game well with only a couple of minor nervy moments
Great goal from Coads and great to see him this season chipping in with a couple, having gone years without even having a sniff.
Jonny was my MOTM, such a great footballer.
Can’t see us renewing Marcals contract in the summer, but if we can keep RAN, Semedo and Jonny fit we don’t need him tbh. That’s some quality, which we could supplement with the addition of an U23 or Bolla.
Only other point to note, fair play on Bruno on the use of the squad. Max was obviously needing a break, and can also understand him protecting RAN with Jonny just coming back into the team

Really happy with the win, especially for all the negativity that Bruno gets on here. Always room for improvent of course, but the constant sniping is tedious. Up the Wolves and this season where we are accomplishing so much

I don’t expect Neves to be at Wolves next season. But we must surely be looking for a HUGE fee. He’s still very young, really good and has 4 top-flight seasons worth of proof.
Cue all the pundits after today telling us he'll be going to Utd/Arsenal/Liverpool/Juventus/Barca/Real

I think he's the best player I've ever seen play for us and probably will be in my lifetime. Been an absolute privilege to have him in a Wolves shirt.

I think he'll end up at Barca, PSG or Madrid this summer. My fear is he goes to Utd then Paddy will see his daft figure.

I don't see Juve or any Italian team as a big lure anymore, the money just isn't there.

And you're right there aren't many midfields he wouldn't improve.

Merson was trying to flog him yesterday. Stick to dolphin-waxing you alcohol and gambling riddled lunatic.

Daddy figure? You surely dont mean Jorge is going to bung Cristiano Ronaldo over here? Surely not.

On another tangent…van der Beek. Absolute nonentity
