Everton 1-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

I don’t understand. If someone laughs at your post are they not getting involved? I have not laughed at anyone’s post tonight by the way. It is disrespectful unless a response to a funny comment. I understand that Johnny75 is elite - is that your point?
Maybe your posts tonight are that bad they are laughable, so you got laughing emojis

All we can presume that Mon-Fri they are great at Compton then matchday it falls down. I guess because in training, like a game, we can't defend them so we look ace then.
Not really I have seen them in Training they are useless.
Trouble is Moutinho is the best we have. Neves you need on the edge of the box

He (Johnny75) laughs at everything I post. Why not debate instead? Anyone who looks at my previous posts will see: I back Traore & Silva, & youngsters like RAN, newcomers like Semedo etc. I do not rate Rui & Moutinho. Is that really so laughable? Are you capable of some real debate? Or is a snide comment sufficent for you?

Of the 11 corners we had, from memory:

RAN took 1 - was shit
Mout played 2 to RAN that came to nothing.
Mout's first was dismal.

From 3 of the other 7 we had good chances (1. Fabio has a free header if Boly doesn't take it from him, 2. MGW's shot came from a Moutinho corner. 3. Adama forced a good save from Pickford, from a Mout corner.) also from another Keane made an excellent clearance.

Joao has had far worse games with his set pieces.

Who took the set piece from over on the far side with about 5 mins to go that hit the one man wall? Was that Vitinha? For me that was the worst of the night!

Denying nowt. I know how he played tonight but he has earnt enough respect not to be called an arrogant idiot by an arrogant supporter.
Players can be called out for being poor without the need to attack them so you feel better about your own shortcomings
I have had zero respect on this forum when none of you know the first thing about me. So if you want to call someone arrogant ... I have no shortcomings that you know about? All I can say is that if I took 4/5 hapless corners I might consider letting someone else take them - & if they cocked them up too ..

Sky never showed a replay of the ball going out for the corner so I'll assume it was one. Didn't look clear cut but surely they would have gone back and said something if they'd kicked it out.

I can't get my head around that VAR non-decision, makes no sense at all. It's just handball, how can it not be.
It just was a penalty - totally agree.

Didn't RAN take our 5th or 6th corner? (which was shit) So maybe, actually JM did say to RAN, here you have one, then it was shit, so JM continued to take them.

& who scored from a corner tonight? Regardless of who took them our corners are ineffective.

No, I'm not going to debate whether Joao is an arrogant idiot or not. Disgusting way to talk about one of the best footballers to have worn the shirt, and if that's your view then you're the idiot

It is possible. Perhaps someone should ask Nuno why our corners are so poor?

So more disrespect from a so-called moderator. If you could be bothered to read my posts you will notice that I praise him for his previous seasons & that I hope he stays with Wolves behind the scenes. It was hyperbole - I viewed it as arrogant to keep taking corners when they were going nowhere - & that was in my view idiotic behaviour. Try something different.

Podence can do it and when fit/on form he is a little bastard to play against. Sadly for us, since he got whacked at Old Trafford we have only seen a half fit version of him.
He’s done it like 2 or 3 times though? He’s more inconsistent than adama IMO, who gets a lot of unfair stick

So having three really good attackers in our team / squad would have made no difference?

Podence is a good player when he isn't injured.
It’s and buts. Having 3 different players could have a positive or negative effect totally dependent on how they play / style the manager to sets up. To say we definitely win with them in is like asking a blind man their favourite colour

He was abysmal & I think he lost us the game through endless wasted dead ball opportunity.
I’m pretty sure his useless dead balls (which I agree with) didn’t lose us the game. The fact we conceded did...

Hyperbole is a nice get out to spout rubbish, and then try and brush it off when you get called out. Is it still hyperbole now as you're still calling him idiotic (or displaying idiotic behaviour)

Just because you've praised him before doesn't make it ok.

Well actually, we had 3 good chances from corners tonight, generally i would agree our corners are crap. But tonight they were our most likely way to goal.

Given what we now know about Podence's injury, i don't think it's fair to judge his ability based on his performances after his return, i'd sooner remember his performances against Arsenal, Sheff U and Chelsea, where we KNOW he was fit.

Are we saying he’s only been fit for 3 games then?
