Who knows at this point, I don't. Nor do I actually care that much, I just want the season putting to bed.

Everton aren't any good either so let's hit them with whatever we have. Which isn't much, I'll grant you.

------------------------------Rui-------------------------

Semedo------------Coady--------Boly-------Ait-Nouri

----------------Vitinha----------Neves-------------------

Adama-------------------MGW---------------Corbeanu

----------------------------Fabio----------------------------

2020/21: L 1-2 (H)
2019/20: W 3-0 (H), L 2-3 (A)
2018/19: D 2-2 (H), W 3-1 (A)
2011/12: D 0-0 (H), L 1-2 (A)
2010/11: L 0-3 (H), D 1-1 (A)
2009/10: D 0-0 (H), D 1-1 (A)
2003/4: W 2-1 (H), L 0-2 (A)

I would play something like this. If it's Vitinha again as the ten and MGW wide I don't mind though, just let Morgan have a bit more freedom and let RAN hug that touchline.

Think it will be Neves + Donck/Moutinho. Seems to be rotating them ahead of euros.

DW's team, though Fabio looked tired so might be worth chopping in Jose.

Let's not, eh.

He hasn't played there for a long time but if Boly is fit I'd be tempted to play Saïss in midfield next to Neves. We know they work as a pairing, Saïss never really let us down in that position and that could give us a really solid base to build from. He's got a better passing range than Dendoncker as well IMO.

I can see José starting tbf. Not that it is what I would want.

Semedo Coady Boly Aït-Nouri

Saïss Neves

Adama Vitinha Gibbs-White

Subs: Ruddy, Kilman, Hoever, Moutinho, Dendoncker, Willian José, Corbeanu, Marçal, Cundle

The kid lacks stamina or longevity - whatever its called. Its why he looked so bad pre-Jose, no point running him into the ground again so he looks terrible (FYI Paddy - I am not saying he is terrible :))

I think if we signed Jose permanently in the Summer it would be the tipping point with Nuno for me. He's been shocking since he came here.

Is Boly likely to be fit? I'd fancy us if he is (and on form)

I see little point in playing MGW wide, all it does is kill his confidence, i'd play either him or Vitinha in the 10 and then swap them after an hour.

I mean to what end though, he's absolutely shite and in a week's time isn't our player (we aren't signing him).
Just to not flog Silva I guess. Which is about the only purpose WJ has served. Like I say, I would just play Fabio.

I wouldn't worry, I can't imagine it happening even if he was offered to us for 5million.

I don' think WJ has enjoyed his time with us too much either, living alone in a hotel away from his family in a country where he doesn't speak the language, plus he had a good goal disallowed v Fulham, he probably feels pretty miserable about the move.

Need to put players around the lad to do that. Has to be MGW in behind him with somebody close to him from out wide.

I mentioned it in the Spurs verdict thread but I'd be sending Fábio off to Famalicão on loan next season. They've struggled for strikers since losing Toni Martínez to Porto and Rúben Lameiras to Vitória (Campana is shit, they're playing Alexandre Guedes up top atm and he isn't much better) so he'd get plenty of game time.

Get Raúl back fit and either buy another striker (not Willian José) or give Rafa Mir a chance.

He's not going to be ready to make a meaningful impact in the Premier League for a few years yet IMO. It'd do him good to have a full season in a less demanding league.

As for the next 2 games... We might as well play him I suppose.

Not a hope we loan Fabio out, loans are a pile of shit anyway.

Mir isn't good enough, not even close.

Mir isn't good enough, but having Fabio as our only option should Raul get injured again will be a massive huge failing.

Well it's either a loan or an extended spell in our U23's IMO as I wouldn't be comfortable having him as our 2nd choice striker for a long time.

A season playing Primeira League football would be much better for his development than that.

How often does our second choice striker play under normal circumstances?

If Raul is fit then he'll hardly be on the pitch anyway. Which is already a huge barrier to signing anyone that's any good.

Every time you say this the simple answer is Harry Kane.

They work if they’re done right.

I agree with Lycan he should go out for a season and get time in a league more befitting his level for now.
