We played ok, but we’re always likely to struggle in the last half hour or so, the bench was so weak.

I thought MGW played well, nice movement and passing, looking forward to him getting a run of games.

Semedo looked excellent offensively, but had a hard time against digne defensively.

I thought Neves was excellent.

I like Fab, and he was okay first half, but should have come off after about 15 minutes of the second half, he looked knackered and offered nothing.

Donk should have scored at least one of the five chances he had, it’s just not good enough.

disappointed, but not really surprised. Hope we have a player or two back for West Brom.

Everton offered very little which is fair enough with their front 2 tonight. We had the better opportunities and more of the play. Before Keane scored we looked more likely to win. Ah well, bollocks.
Not sure we did tbh. It get inevitable for much of that half that we would concede to me, as we had so little to offer

I thought we played quite well, dropped off at about 60 minutes and didn't really have the bench to do anything about it
I agree with some of that, but we did have Cutrone and Vitinha who we could have brought on earlier. Instead of bringing on a full back (and I love Hoever)

Hoever was the wrong sub. Totally agree

The xG is 1.20 to 0.27 in our favour, certainly doesn’t feel like it (why should quite often take single game xG with a pinch of salt)
Silva chance which he didn’t connect with and Neves Tap in will account for that. Pickford didn’t have any other saves to make.

I'd rather be bringing on Andre Gomes and Richarlison but here we are!

Draw would have been a fair result, neither team really deserved to win it on that second half showing. We have this rather annoying habit of losing football matches that we need to shake off, sharpish.

Everton didn't look like scoring and weren't really trying to. Difficult for us after Neto took a knock too.
