He is a weird signing for Everton anyway. Unless he’s changed while at Portugal, I cannot see how he helps improve the defence.

I haven't seen anything of Mykolenko to suggest he's Prem level.

Mykolenko is shit. Vinagre is on low wages, think we did quite well in getting the lump of money we did. Sounds like if he does well, Everton have an option to buy at £8.5m so Sporting are going to lose money compared to what they paid us I think.

Trying to think who I hated in Nov/Dec 2012. Not Saunders, he wasn't here yet. Not Doherty, he wasn't really in the team. Couldn't abide Zubar but he wasn't playing then either, Solbakken had banished him (he did get at least one thing right). Foolishly I don't think I'd quite 100% given up on Johnson at Championship level. Nouble was obviously awful but we'd already decided to hope everyone forgot that we actually signed him. I did hate Pennant.

Pennant is an easy hate. Nouble doing his Mike Small tribute act was just painful. At least Small got his goal by being smashed in the face by the keepers clearance and just carried on running as if nothing had happened.

In terms of pure ability and discounting kids/random trialists I think the worst I have ever seen in a Wolves shirt. Worse than Paul Jones the midfielder.

I didn't think Nouble had ever scored so checked following your recollection. Obviously you are correct, but what is even more startling are their ages. Frank is only 30 [surely not wiki?] and Mike is 60! I'd have had 10-15 years age between them, not 30.

Meanwhile, Mark Williams is hiding his birth certificate again.
