So the draw for the first round proper was made this evening and it is as follows...

Haringey v AFC Wimbledon; Maidstone Utd v Macclesfield; Ebbsfleet Utd v Cheltenham Town; Hampton & Richmond Borough v Oldham Athletic

Swindon Town v York City; Mansfield v Charlton Athletic; Torquay Utd v Woking; Scunthorpe Utd v Burton Albion; Port Vale v Sunderland

Aldershot Town v Bradford City; Grimsby Town v MK Dons; Chorley v Doncaster Rovers; Alfreton Town v Fleetwood Town; Bromley v Peterborough Utd

Southport v Boreham Wood or Dagenham & Redbridge; Plymouth Argyle v Stevenage; Chesterfield v Billericay Town or Taunton Town

Lincoln City v Northampton; Barnet v Bristol Rovers; Yeovil v Stockport County; Bury v Dover Athletic; Gillingham v Hartlepool

Oxford Utd v Forest Green Rovers; Tranmere v Hemel Hempstead Town or Oxford City; Accrington Stanley v Colchester Utd

Barnsley v Notts County; Shrewsbury v Salford City; Met Police v Newport; Walsall v Coventry City; Rochdale v Gateshead

Hitchin Town or Leatherhead v Solihull Moors; Sutton Utd v Slough Town; Guiseley v Cambridge Utd; Exeter City v Blackpool

Luton Town v Wycombe; Morecambe v Warrington Town or Halifax Town; Crewe Alexandra v Carlisle; Southend Utd v Crawley Town

Chippenham Town or Maidenhead United v Portsmouth; Weston Super Mare v Harrogate Town or Wrexham

A couple of questions... Will the BBC love in with Manchester lead to the showing of "poor little" Salford City's game?
Can Chorley get through to the third round so I can see Wolves play them?!

What do people think will be the televised games?

Haringey vs Wimbledon has the potential of a shock as does Hampton & Richmond Borough vs Oldham

Shrewsbury vs Salford will be on (tbh I don't think the media have ever portrayed Salford as plucky underdogs, it's quite obvious they're massively bankrolled at that level, it's just an interesting story with high profile ex-players being involved and the BBC being based in Salford these days have an easy gig there on their doorstep if and when they want to cover them).

Shrews v Salford
BT love Billy Town so may take a gamble that they will win their replay
Hope Met Police get their game on live

Martin Allen delighted with the draw...

BT Games

Hampton & Richmond Borough v Oldham
Maidenhead v Pompey
Vale v Sunderland (Just so they can waffle on about how far this once great team have fallen)

True dat. Gone are the Halcyon days of Tony Naylor scoring against us.

My 'second' team Woking get through to the 2nd round (& not been there for a fair few years)

Stats would indicate that Torquay battered them - we still won 1 - 0

Chorley 2-2 Doncaster, so it's still a possibility!

The team that knocked Stourbridge out in the previous round, Guiseley, beat Cambridge 4-3 at home.

BT showing Oxford v Tranmere and Salford v Shrewsbury replays

Another battering (according to the stats) for my second team, but Woking still won away at Swindon (2 leagues & 37 places up the league pyramid)

Ist time in with the 'big boys' for a fair few seasons.

I hope you get the fucking shit. As long as we avoid Cambridge on the same day...

That was a weird experience. Getting turned over by a lower division side and spending a load of the game laughing about the exploits of Tim Buzaglo.

The Shit at home would be a decent draw - they won't like Kingfield (one stand that is good enough to grace a League 1/Championship team with the rest of the ground looking as if it's going to fall down at some point)

Was at the last encounter (couldn't get a ticket for the next round v Everton) was a very good day out!

With Wolves current run of form, anyone fancy us drawing Luton away?

Surprised no one has put this up yet . Wolves drawn at home to Liverpool in the FA Cup third round. So we play them twice at home over a two week period, Dec 21 in the league, and Jan 4-7 in the Cup.

That's because there are 2 threads - been discussed on the other one
