Off on a tangent from the Villa thread. You can have five because I'm generous like that.

Doesn't have to be a reason but explain if you really want to.

Mine:

Man Utd 2-1 (FA Cup, 2019)
West Brom 4-2 (1996)
Leeds 1-0 (FA Cup, 1998)
Arsenal 3-1 (2019)
Birmingham 3-2 (1996)

I assume you mean games attended or just seen?

Im having a think so will add my selections as I go.

Charlton 2-3 Wolves 2008
Wolves 3-2 Man City 2019
Birmingham 0-4 Wolves 1992
Wolves 5-1 Nottingham Forest 2008
Wolves 2-1 Chelsea 2020

Only picking games I was at:
Albion a 1989 2-1 - last minute Bully winner and felt like the full stop in the rebuild
Derby a 2009 3-2 When I knew we were going up
Sheff U playoff offs 3-0 Pretty obvious
Blues a 1992 4-0 Live on tele, Darren Roberts, Gary Newbon you're a wanker
Joint 5th 😉Utd h 2004 1-0 City h 2019 3-2 The Utd one wasn't a great game, but after so long out of the top flight I didn't think I'd ever see us beat a top side in the league again.

  • Wolves 2 - 3 Blackburn (2011) -> easy as it is to disparage Stephen Hunt, if he doesn't score that goal, I'm not here (a Wolves supporter) today. Period.
  • Bristol City 1 - 2 Wolves (2017)
  • Wolves 1 - 0 Cardiff City (2018)
  • Bristol City 1 - 4 Wolves (2012) -> it didn't end up meaning anything, but for one fleeting moment it looked like Stale had cracked the code. We fucking destroyed them on the day. Turns out, Brizzle were just enormously shite.
  • Wolves 4 - 0 Besiktas (2019)

I'm only a filthy casual, certainly less than 100 games but well into double figures. Never seen us win live... 😞
So my favourite was away in the League Cup to Chelsea, then champions of Europe and with a full strength XI, under Stale and a bunch of dross.
Lost 6-0, but the couple of hundred that turned up all seemed to have a fun time regardless...

My dates might be a bit out,
Arsenal 5-1 1971
Leeds 2-1 1972-3
Leicester 4-3 2019?
Plymouth Argyle 3-1 1990?
QPR 1-1 1996

Would have liked Torino or Espanyol but 5

Oof, that Leicester match is a great shout.

4-2 Port Vale - A, 1995 - First ever away game aged 9.

3-2 Charlton - A, 2008 - A lead, a wondergoal a last minute goal conceded and a last, last minute winner and a Kevin Kyle assist!

2-0 Derby - A, 2017 - Second game of the season and knew that day coming away we were going to walk the league.

1-0 Reading - A Play Off Semi Final Second Leg, 2003 - The mother of all mentals. ALEX RAE THE SUBSTITUTE, SCORES THE GOAL SURELY TAKES WOLVES TO A CARDIFF FINAL. To be one of the 5000 who actually got to be there was unbelievable.

3-2 Man City - H, 2019

Utterly surreal that day Pad. I had a mate over from Ireland who I got tickets for as he'd always wanted to do a game in the flesh and he was bewildered by what unfolded in front of him.

Not many losses you can say you enjoyed by definition but the Liverpool 2-1 defeat at home was incredible just two teams having a go at one another, brilliant atmosphere under the lights and their fans still say we were their toughest games that season by a stretch.

Shame the PL hobbled us for the game at Anfield.

I’ll go for games that I was actually at but my memory is shot to shit these days so there are probably a load from the 1990’s that I have forgotten about…

Reading 0 - 1 Wolves (Play Off Semi)
Wolves 3 - 0 Sheff Utd (Play Off Final)
Wolves 4 - 3 Leicester (2003/4)
Wolves 3 - 2 Newcastle (FA Cup 2002?)
Wolves 2 - 3 Blackburn (2011)

Newcastle was 2003, it's what kickstarted the play off run

Three of my favourites were from the 90's and two were in consecutives weeks

Wolves v Sheff Wednesday 95 FA Cup, The penalty shoot out, from depression to elation in 15 minutes which then lead to
Wolves 1 Leicester 0, that goal, my personal favourite, and from that day on you don't ever bad mouth David Kelly ( I think that was just after the abandoned Ireland England game at which he scored as well.
WBA 2 Wolves 4 Ewan Roberts hattrick, (still have a mug somewhere with 'Make mine a treble' on it) only went as a mate had dropped out, absolute carnage outside after the game and I've never been back since.
