Fixture Changes Thread

Monday 5th April H v West Ham 20:15 Sky
Friday 9th April A v Fulham 20;00 BT

Sheff Utd (H) - Sat 17th - 3pm (Sky)
Burnley (H) - Sun 25th - 12pm (BBC)

The BBC are suckers for punishment after they had last season's reverse fixture. They've not announced which channel/s its on this time.

It'll be shoved onto the red button if they have any sense.

A great goal and some last minute drama. What more do you want?

(Well, 89 other minutes where anything happens I suppose)

The commentary and camera work on that one was shocking.

Timbolina reckons we're being moved on Saturday to 8.15pm.

Edit: Confirmed by the PL.

Makes no difference to me....actually prefer evening kick off for watching on TV, think we were all expecting this

I'd got the day set up around a 3pm kick off, it's annoying. Fortunately it'll still be fine for my 6pm booking down the pub.

How come we were ok to play on the day he literally died but we have to mess around now?

I guess the actual day was too late to call anything off as all the people involved would have already travelled.

It's happened before. On the day Diana died, Liverpool vs Newcastle got called off, Newcastle were obviously already there. All their fans would also have already been in Liverpool having stayed over or would have been on the way.

Did we play the next day? I remember the old geezer sat down from me refusing to stand for the minute's silence as he thought they were all a bunch of scroungers :)

Nah, we played the day before at home to Bury (won 4-2), then we had Port Vale the following Wednesday (we drew 1-1, we were shit, Martin Foyle scored his 88th goal of his career past us)

Bit unfair on Moysey and the West Ham boys. They're going to miss it with the travel back from Newcastle after the 12:30 game.

The 37th round of fixtures have been put back to the 18-19 May to allow spectators to attend.

Game v Brighton on BBC. Sunday 9th May. 12pm

WBA Monday 3rd May. Sky 6pm
