Flum v Wolves: Take it seriously 3rd Round Cup game

I disagree- Fulham will be hoping to get play offs this season after their up-turn in form.
Its a very strong young squad, but not a balanced squad, the ability in midfield and up front must rank as good as any within the Championship.
Emerson Hyndman, Lasse Vigen Christensen, and Patrick Roberts are as good potentially as any within Premier league youth squads.

No chance I would say, they're wildly inconsistent (last eight games are won four, lost four) and given how much ground they have to make up they're going to need around two points a game for the rest of the season.

That isn't much of a problem in this Division, very easy to hit a run like that, obviously they need to spend in January. I presume they have a budget after blasting £22m up the wall on 2 strikers since last January....

Really. Mitroglou and McCormack @ £11m each.

Jackett must make tweaks with Kevin McDonald suspended and teenage defender Kortney Hause cup-tied, having featured in the competition while on loan at Gillingham.

But he will name his best available team, adding: “I’m not going to make unnecessary changes or experiment. It’s going to be the best side I feel can play.

Good if we are. The players have had a bit of a rest with no game yesterday and a week off to the next game. We have a good chance of progressing and wins breed confidence

I wouldn't get excited if I were you. KJ says the same thing before every cup game, usually before we go out after a half-paced and half hearted performance.

I'd like to see the same team as last game, maybe give Dohery another run at LB and Evans for Kmac

Sako is still available I believe.

Am I right in thinking that the 4th round clashes with a championship fixture weekend? & that weekend is one Sako is likely to miss? If so, win the game so we can get that match postponed for when he returns.

Charlton at home I think on 21/01/15

If the Manager sends out a half-arsed team then it should be no surprise to see half-arsed performances

i'd like to see as full strength a team as possible and given that 1600+ Wolves fans are going to be there they deserve to see a performance

Over 2,200 sold and still pay on the day as well which is a great turn out. I'll be there but that's more to do with Fulham being one of my favourite away days than any expectation that we'll fight 100% for the win.

I hope there is a bit of honesty to his comments today about wanting to respect the cup and take it seriously, especially if it means getting the Charlton game rearranged until after the ACON. Would like to see Kuzczak or however the fuck it's spelt have a run out mind, not usually in favour of the playing the sub goalie but would be nice to have a look at him.

Indeed. We should put out as strong a team as possible. I would really like to see us have a cup run, we are long overdue one.

How long is Kuszczaks contract running for? IIRC it was a short term deal, not to the end of the season. Would he want to cup tie himself?

Runs until the end of January I think. Pretty sure we will extend it assuming he fancies sticking around, McCarey is a way off fitness.
