Looks like there is a meeting taking place today of the 20 Prem clubs to decide strategy on TV coverage of the matches not currently on Sky and BT.

The clubs have so far only supported a petition to the Gov. to allow fans back into grounds, but there is concern that changes in Covid tactics by the Gov may preclude that.

An emergency 'rescue' package for EFL clubs may also be under discussion.

The Premier League today confirmed all fixtures until the end of October will continue to be made available for fans to watch live in the United Kingdom.

Under these new arrangements, the current live match selections will remain in place and will be broadcast as normal.

In addition, the five matches per round not already selected will be made available to supporters on a pay-per-view basis, accessed via BT Sport Box Office and Sky Sports Box Office platforms.

Clubs today agreed this interim solution to enable all fans to continue to watch their teams live.

The Premier League has worked closely with Sky Sports and BT Sport to provide this arrangement and is grateful for their support.

The agreement will be regularly reviewed in consultation with clubs and in line with any decisions made by Government regarding the return of spectators to stadiums.

Football is not the same without supporters at matches. The Premier League and our clubs remain committed to the safe return of fans as soon as possible.

An updated broadcast list of matches will be announced later today.

Does any of the money go to the clubs? Personally, I am happy to pay if it accelerates the move towards all games being live...some PPV and some through subscription. £15 is about right for PPV and better quality and less hassle than illegal streams and IPTV...I couldn’t get my head around IPTV at all.

Does that mean pubs will start buying Wolves games? £15 is obviously less than a match ticket but the product is far less too. £570 per season to watch it on the Internet (not actually live) is a bit of a piss take on top of the existing TV subscription. Which wouldn’t be too bad if all teams were shown equally, but they aren’t.

Surely just going to encourage people illegally steaming, illegally meeting in households and going to the pub. Safer and easier to just open the stadiums.

I happily paid the five bucks per match when I didn't have access to another legal source to do so, as it was easier and better quality than the alternative. I also continue to happily pay the $60/y for premier league plus, and now peacock, to get "most" games. 15 for random one-offs, however... you're begging for it to just be restreamed by people.

It’s so a crazy fee when you think “Gamepass” gets you full live coverage and replays of every NFL game plus tons of other content for £180 (used to be £100 but they keep putting it Up).

And those games are 3x as long!

I think it is only a matter of time before we get a "season ticket" option here, pay a seasons fee, get all your own teams games, nothing else. Would likely affect attendance, but then we all know only tv watchers are important...

I won't be paying that, I pay enough for sports coverage as it is, and no way for an extra £15 per game, no thanks. I don't mind paying to watch live games as theres an experience factor, but that's a joke.

I'm really struggling, more than other sports, to watch football without a crowd. I guess if I'm interested I'll grab a stream but I can't see me being too bothered.

These games are already being recorded / televised elsewhere - its just another method of ripping the fans off / ensuring the status quo stays.
