Think the idea behind FBs trying to take deep set pieces I think was to try and maintain shape and avoid issues on the counter.

If Moutinho is taking them, you either end up having to have extra players back or risk Moutinho/Neves being ran past on the counter.

I saw a guy on YouTube, his goes by the name Rob Reacts, and he's put the image of the disallowed goal up. He is so frustrated.
He can't see where it was offside. By the way he is a Southampton fan. Worth a look if you are interested.
