Kept a clean sheet today, so Ranieri must be making them more solid. Need to find a way to stop Mitrovic from bullying Coady as he did last year.

I'd be tempted to go back to the old 343, bring Cav in for Neves, Vinagre for Jonny and have a real go at them. I know Nuno won't but that's what I'd do.

Fulham defence is not Liverpool's - would play Vinagre there as getting at them will give us a better chance

If Jota is fit enough then him in for Traore & MGW just behind - would keep Saiss in then just a decision as to whether it's Moutinho or Neves to pair with him (after last season didn't think that I would be questioning Reuben Neves, but he's not been right on it yet)

I wouldn't read too much into the Newcastle result - they are pretty toothless as we saw ourselves a few weeks ago. Having said that just guessing from their lineup it looks like they (Fulham) might've had a back 5 in - not sure they'll do that at home but it might be a case of needs must until they can reinforce in Jan.

If Jota's fit (seems doubtful) he should come straight back in. If not I'd prefer Cav-MGW-Raul up front with Saiss - Neves. Moutinho's a great option to bring on especially if we can get in front to manage the game. I'd keep MGW in the team at the moment regardless as he seems to have solved the issue we were having with the forwards being too isolated from the rest of the team (Jota's resurgence also helped)

Agree that Vinagre would be an option but away from home I suspect Jonny will get the call just to be sure we're solid defensively, which is always Nuno's priority

Just think that Vinagre might well give us more possibilities up front - can bring Jonny on when we are 3 - 0 up

Jota is a must if he is fit - wouldn't risk him if he is not ready as there will still be 19 games to go

Agree with all of that.

I'd go MGW in for Neves and anyone in for Traore. Jota preferably if he's fit but I doubt he will be.

Nuno will swap MGW for Saiss and keep the front 2 the same.

MGW for Neves and Costa for Traore for me. Traore first change as he should.be good against their rickety defence.

We should fucking batter these.
Just like Huddersfield and Cardiff...

Fulham have the type of striker we struggle against so this one isn't as easy as league positions would suggest.

They are fucking shit. We should win well.

Of course, no guarantees.

Definitely bring MGW in, have a feeling he may manage Moutinho with another tough game 3 days later. Jota/Cav for Traore hopefully.

Over the course of the season so far we have created loads of chances, including against the top teams, at some point a few of the chances will go in, so I'm hopeful of a convincing win......however 1-0 and avoiding yet another banana skin will do me fine

Moutinho, Saiss, and Morgan as the three for me.

Not fussed about who goes up top between Cav and Traore to pair with Jiminez. Just not Costa.

Rest of the team as usual.

Jiminez has to start and assuming Jota isn't fit, don't mind who his partners are, Traore did ok Friday so wouldn't mind him getting another start, Costa has to improve but I'd really, really like to see Cav given a run in the team, I know he has the odd nightmare game in him but for me he is our best finisher by some distance

Should clarify that if Jota is fit it's hard to argue to keep him out at the mo. Just don't think he will be.

Are we happy that an £18M player achieved a season-high ‘ok’ last time out?

I’m not - write the money off, pack him off on loan somewhere, and sign players that are intelligent enough (in football terms) to play the system we will clearly be playing for a while yet. Bennett hoofing the ball up to the Traore, in a style reminiscent of under-12s football, makes my eyes bleed.
