I'm sorry but if we can't get a 4231 to look vaguely balanced, when between the keeper, the back four and midfield 2 there's about a million top flight games and a thousand international caps, all of whom have played in a 4 or a 2 many, many times before for club and country, then we've got major fucking problems. Well, one major problem. It's not like we're asking them to do anything revolutionary.

I'm sure I'll get routinely slaughtered for suggesting this, but given that our 2 CBs are both slower than molasses and milk turns faster, if we want pace at the heart of the defence could Hoever play there alongside Coady? Maybe not in a physical battle against a powerful forward like Mitrovic, but against quicker forwards would he not be an option?

It's a game I wouldn't have been surprised to see us lose when we were really good!

Yeah, battered us at their place when we were storming the championship.

Same squad so probably the same team. Which may bring the same result.
Personally I would shake it up a bit.

Donk Coady Saiss

No Traore as it’s pointless crossing to midgets. Keep it on the deck and pass and move

It won’t happen. It will be the same who started v West Ham and we will be two down in 30 minutes with Mitrovic and Lookman playing like Ronaldo and Messi. Rui will be beaten from 25 yards low right and Poor Neves will look like he is running in treacle.
You know I am only joking around . It’s gallows humour for this season now.

I really hope I am wrong but I fear a dicking

From the Gruniad.

  • Fulham are unbeaten in their five Premier League home meetings with Wolves (W2 D3).
  • There are two players to have had as many as 25 shots without finding the net so far in the PL this season – Wolves winger Adama Traore (26) and Fulham’s Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (25).
  • After losing their first three Friday PL matches, Wolves are unbeaten in their last four on that day (W3 D1), keeping a clean sheet in each of the last three.
  • Wolves forward Fabio Silva has lost all three PL contests in which he’s scored. No player has a worse such 100 per cent losing record in the competition’s history.

Fucking Hell, this is getting depressing, and we havent even kicked off yet. Tonight is the time for Nuno to show us what he is made of.

Rui
Semedo Coady Saiss RAN
Neves Donk
Traore Podence Neto
Silva

or try Traore as a 10, he is pretty dangerous through the middle of the pitch, could be a surprise move for Fulham to handle..like a NFL running back in the middle :)

About as dangerous as a safety pin. He first played in the Premier League in 2015. He has five goals in 133 games. Two of them came in the same match.

Can’t remember the last time I dreaded a match like this feels more like going for some fillings at the dentist.
