31 bastard degrees forecast.

You would think Guedes goes straight in? In for Hwang I guess even though he did ok against Leeds. As I said on Saturday this is oddly a bit must win for Lage already because we'll probably lose to Spurs and then Newcastle look good straight after.

No news as yet on Moutinho's injury as far as I know. Got to think it's unlikely he'll be available. Ditto Adama. And we don't know if MGW will be here...

They played well on Saturday, still creaky at the back though. At least we no longer have to go through the "Coady can't deal with Mitrovic" myth!

Thought Fulham looked really good at the weekend. I like some of their business Leno, Mbabu, Palhinha all improve them and it looks like they're signing Diop which again improves them over starting Ream.

Think they will stay up fairly comfortably this time round and think it will be a tough game.

Talk that Hwang picked up a groin strain against Leeds? Presumably that incident where he was down receiving treatment

I was seriously going to this as my first game this season but the weather forecast has put me right off. Can't stand that sort of heat.

It's fine in the ground. Unless you're right at the front behind the goals or in the golf stand you're not directly in the sun. It wasn't uncomfortable against Crusaders which was a hotter day.

Trains are borked so you don't have to tolerate them either...

There aren't *many* seats available but by the same token, there's at least something spare in every single block of the ground as it stands. Impossible to get tickets, etc etc

I think Crusaders was the warmest game I've ever been to in this country (outside of the ground), sure phone was still saying about 36° when we came out!

Issa Diop confirmed to Fulham. Good signing from them and improves their defence before the weekend.

Yeah, but it's a different heat over here...

34 now forecast for Saturday. RL is going to be like a fucking oven! I apologise now for melting in the corner

Heat is only a problem if you manage it wrongly, ie don’t get smashed, wear something on your head and plenty of sun cream.
Having spent long periods of my life in heat like that you tend to do very little around 3pm anyway. No coincidence that not many games in leagues around the Mediterranean have afternoon kick-offs.
