FFS Leon Ckarke. The one game I got to in our record breaking League 1 season was Stevenage away. 0-0. Summed up by a shout I heard from behind me "Leon, why don't you just try jumping for the ball..."

Paul Jones was awful. He was generally terrible the first time around as well as the second.

It's like Leon Clarke - we can't say we weren't warned from the first spell, so who knows why on earth we brought them back for a second.

I'm sure someone will correct me, but I can't think of a single player (bar Neil Emblen) who we sold and then brought back in (either permanently or on loan) whose second spell wasn't a disaster. Wayne Clarke's one game doesn't count.
Stowell was on loan then came back 12 months later on a permanent and a success but that's about it I think.

Jose Sa; perfectly good for 5-a-side
Marcal; I reckon he'd be a right shithouse to get passed and a skillful defender
Moutinho; Vision, passing and shooting. What's not to like?
Saka; Great engine and finish with both feet
Diogo; As Saka above

That's £14m so I'l pocket the spare £1m Mike Ashley style

Not sure I should admit this but I'm good mates with Makin's brother. He's a nutcase too.

Also a showcase in how fucking awful Eric Young was.
Just imagine Eric Young and John de Wolf (second season) in a relay race against Kaspars Gorkss and Roger Johnson.

Follow it up with each pair trying to turn measured against an average oil tanker.

Which centre half partnership was actually slower?

We had a collection of milk floats in the early 90s.

Ally Robertson
Lawrie Madden
Rob Hindmarch
Gary Bellamy
Paul Stancliffe
Paul Blades

There'd have been various combinations of that lot. Amazingly enough, pacy forwards used to do us over, who'd have thought it.

I liked Shane Westley before his injury, and even though he was shite afterwards, I wouldn't have told him.

Add Derek Mountfield to that list?

I didn't mind Deek. Good in the air. But aye, couldn't run for shit.

I think Madden is the slowest I've seen. He'd probably lose a race to John Madden.
