General Wolves News

It's probably a ridulous thing to say cos I've only seen a few minutes of him play but I will anyway, for the 20 minutes I saw he looks to be the exact type of midfielder we need..... whether he's good enough remains to be seen.
I agree with this. Quite a dynamic ball carrying midfielder, not box to box as defensively I don't think he's the best.

Be interesting to see what Bruno can do with him.

We really do have more than our fair share of cunts as fans

I just don't understand the post. It offends no one, it has zero negative impact on someone who isn't affected by the issue and could have an enormous positive benefit for someone who is directly affected.

It really shouldn't be an issue what someone does in their own time with another consenting adult but sadly it is.

And some people wonder why there are so few openly gay male footballers. Jesus wept.

The user name said it all really tbf.

It does offend though….if you’re a religious zealot, or any other type of person who thinks it’s vulgar to love somebody of the same gender.

As you say, there shouldn’t be any negative impact - we should just be happy that those in LGBT+ community are not being forced to conform, are comfortable with their choices, and happy.

Yeah should have stated offensive to any normal person or sane mind.

Just have one declare as transgender of their opposite gender & that solves it - this is not to be taken as a serious or believed comment.

It really shouldn't matter at all - we are all human beings and are all different.

Interesting Q&A. Don't agree with a lot of his opinions, but there's a bit of reasonable behind the scenes stuff

He certainly likes his ego stroked. Offers no particular insight and loves people hanging on his every word.

I liked Donald. We didn't really need him at the time though. We effectively ended up swapping Ned Kelly for Mark Atkins which is no-one's idea of a good deal.

We might have gone up if Big John had stayed fit. He was slow as a barge though. Would have been no good a level up, even in 1995.

De Wolf was massively overrated by Wolves fans, principally for having a cool name and a giant mullet. Defensively he was awful

He was a leader though and he and Richards didn't quite overlap properly in 94/95 (Deano came in after he got injured). He was what we'd been missing since Shirtliff got injured vs Millwall (and he was properly done for good after that, could barely move).

Of course we should have bought an actual midfielder while Geoff Thomas was crocked but no, play Rankine and/or Ferguson there. That seems a good idea.

Taylor hated good midfielders, or so it felt, selling Marsden and Keen (and to a lesser extent Tom Bennett) but retaining Rankine and Ferguson was criminal.

*I know Keen largely played on the left of midfield for us (scoring 9 from there), but he spent the rest of his career largely in CM
