Sorry, Nando, not sure what exactly this means for the club. Could you enlighten me?

Macquarie are to financing what Donald Trump is to good governance.

But they give loans if you want to factor future income. If we can afford it, which we can, its just distasteful rather than worrying.

Basically we are getting money now, borrowing against guaranteed revenue in the future. Now based on us not going down this season.

I really don't understand, something strange is going on

Any idea what?

Its not strange. Its factoring. I just wish we chose a less disreputable institution to do it with

We've been doing it since 2019.

We haven't done two so close together before, it would be incredibly optimistic to think it's funding some transfer activity wouldn't it!

It might well be. Its a bit of financial shennanigans but absolutely nothing to worry about unless the interest rate was insane.

So this is in addition to the Jota Money we loaned a month or so ago?

We really shouldn’t have cash flow issues, the only way we could is if we still owe money for the 2018/2019 splurge + Semedo/Fabio and that is all due to come out this month.

Or we’re planning on signing loads of players.

You'd have to think either the Jota one or this one is a demand to cash which has only recently come about.

Suppose it's possible Fosun see our position and know we're in with a really good opportunity to capitalize and bring in that sweet, sweet European football money.

But I'm sure none of us are so optimistic as to expect that.

There are dozens of racing disciplines I'd pick first, but your point is well made.

Still freaks me out sometimes.

I wouldn't recommend it as sport but for a calf fetishist it must be glorious. Save yourself the hassle and just Google some pictures of Chris Hoy.
