General Wolves News

It's putting Ruddy in goal that makes me shudder. He makes Adrian look like Ederson

Especially when the Nations League is just a glorified friendly tournament. They owe the TV companies games or they'd have to refund them, which is why they haven't been cancelled. Money over safety as always.

It’s ridiculous that loads of international games are being played at the moment anyway.

New Zealand (very sensibly) have cancelled their friendly with us this November. Wanna bet the FA rearrange something with someone else..?

Doesn't this part apply just as much to the premier league too though?

The thing is that a) each club squad operates in its own bubble, largely and b) in the grand scheme of things, you're never travelling that far to any venue (in the UK anyway).

Getting players together from multiple clubs and having them jet all over Europe doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

Common sense ! ! ! Not fucking likely in these crazy times . . .

Unless you want a pile of National Football Associations to go bust they had very little choice. Has been a godsend for smalled associations to keep them going without any cashflow, FAI for instance made €10million from this nations league.

You can play domestic games with minimal and acceptable levels of risk. You can't with international football.

If these players are required to self isolate, would that not mean that Portugal would not be playing tonight? Game is on as far as I can see, so maybe just press speculation at the moment.

They're not, it's nonsense.

Liverpool played Villa despite Thiago and Mané both testing positive.

first was last night wasn't it

England won 2-1 and have qualified for the Euros but I couldn't watch it on TV because it was on BT.

So much for National sides being on free-to-air for Euro qualifiers

But with Phillips and Rice starting we'll create little and the press will again focus on the formation rather than the personnel

That is such a shit team.
