Just read it. Really happy to hear it.

On Jimenez. He was never going to give up. He had to fight to get where he is now, and he's finally found a team that he is the no1 guy at. I reckon he'll actually be better when he comes back.

Until he tries to head the ball, then nobody knows
Correct, but where he fractured his skull will be stronger than it was. It'll be more mental than physical. As it says in the piece on Wolves TV they will assess him fully with scans and medical checks before they decide when to start him off heavy training, and with that heading the ball.
His injury was like being smashed in the head with a hammer. A ball isn't going to do anything compared to that.

Great to hear. Is a real boost for the club when morale is pretty low!

Thought in the article on the website his analysis of Fabio and Vitinha is spot on. And says himself didn’t expect to have to play so many young players at the same time

Really positive article, good to read. Hope it gives Nuno a lift too

It’s nothing to do with the skull fracture. That bit has probably healed by now.

What's it to do with then?
The traumatic brain injury recovery and psychological barriers.

Both are individual and both can only be assessed over time when stress is placed on either.

Sadly medical professionals haven't developed the tech to see internal brain damage to the extent needed whilst the patient is still alive.

So we rely on mainly subjective and some biometric markers. But the brain is still a relatively unknown quantity, particularly when healing.

As i said "more mental than physical". I'm sure he's got access to the absolute best medical equipment/staff in the world. CT scanners can 3D map the brain these days to see physical injury.
Again, like i said, on Wolves tv Nuno explained a little of what he will go through before he's signed off to begin real training. I'm sure everyone involved in his recovery are happy with his progress, Raul in particular. They wouldn't even mention it if it weren't the case.

It would be great if Raul can get even a few minutes on the pitch this season. Get all the hysteria that will surround his return out of the way and then he can start next season without it.

Be even better if he came back with fans there :)
