General Wolves News

The world doesn't always make sense. We got £4.2m for Olofinjana and Eastwood and they weren't worth 4p between them.

That said Adama is not worth £50m to anyone at the moment.

£50m would make him about the 45th highest transfer of all time... (according to Wikipedia, may be a few out)

Who is going to buy him? Doesn’t score enough goals for the top clubs over here. Middle tier teams won’t pay the money. And outside the big guns foreign clubs don’t have money either.

Spiers had Dalrymple on his podcast. Decent interview. Reading between the lines he got the Harlequins job for location reasons and the club stropped a bit when he handed in his notice, hence the garden leave. Good to know it wasn't Jeff meglamania though. Also he got rid of Wolves ay we, which we should all be eternally thankful for.

Just listening now, not sure he really got the meaning of 'Wolves ay we' his reasons seemed to be that he saw that as an accepting 'oh well shit happens Wolves ay we' I'm not sure it was ever that.

Not fussed though if it meant the club itself stopping using it (which was cringey as fuck) but seems he did it for the wrong reasons.

He has the pace(and dribbling skills) no other player in the world has(at least that i have seen)..hope he signs a new contract and that we play him more to get something out of our otherwise slow static play. Not less than £70m for me if we sell him..also great crosses, bet he crosses more than the entire team

I think his dribbling has gone to shit this season. His ball control and footwork in tight spaces last season was amazing, he hasn’t been able to do it this season and he’s even losing control of the ball at times in straight runs.

Apparently Dendoncker got injured playing for Belgium last week so is doubtful for Southampton

That's just Speirs speculating in his podcast without anything to back it up (as a journalist you'd think he'd verify it).

Moutinho and Semedo played 90 minutes on what was basically a potato field. Not ideal preparation for Monday really, especially if Leander is injured.

Moutinho played really well, especially 2nd half after Fernandes went off.

Vitinha starts for Portugal u21 again tonight Vs Netherlands u21.
