General Wolves News

I agree with Pad. He won't last the day once the club find out and take a proper look themselves.

He's resigned apparently. Still incredibly depressing that he ever got selected in the first place.

This was always a possibility. There is no vetting process to speak of when you are put forward as a rep and the old four year term stipulation seems to have fallen fallow which makes it even more of a closed shop and old boys club. And therefore happy to waive through the appointment of a long term member without any checks.

I expect the club to rather strongly insist that changes in future.

Reading that and other tweets, it just sounds like the WFP has basically slowly been moved away from the club to become its own thing

FP have voted him in. Looks like he was nominated by the outgoing chair and it was basically uncontested.

The rep on Mol Mix isn’t exactly overjoyed to find out what his posting history is. Sounds like the club have been made aware and I would expect the blokes involvement to last the day if the Trust wants to be involved with the club in any way. Trouble is, his mate is the deputy chair and his tweets aren’t exactly sweetness and light either.
Nice to see him being roundly condemned on there, with the exception of some of the usual suspects.

FP have tweeted hes resigned to the surprise of nobody.

According to Kashmir on The Mix (FP Committee member) they only checked if any officers had a FBO and didn't look at their social media.

They must all follow each other though. I've never met anybody off here but I follow at least four of you on Twitter.

Just Googled this. Has it reappeared in modern culture or are you just ancient?

Haha

Forealz though I could only see reference to it in the 1920s or something, just wondered how it became a ting, or if you we're 110

You vet anyone on social media these days.

Should there be some kind of conduit between the fans and the club? I would say yes, but probably on an informal basis. This is now silly men trying to play War Cabinet stuff, laughable.

As for the guy himself, well, don't post horrible racist stuff that's publicly available. He wasn't "hounded out", he was found out.

People should be really careful of social media, they don’t realise the impacts it can have.

a girl I worked with held a Halloween party with an “evil from history” theme. She went as hitler, loads of other people in tasteless costumes. Some photos went onto Facebook and she lost her job - had worked there for 20 years, really high performer.

I thought that was harsh. But The guy not being part of the FP was posting really offensive stuff and he can have no complaints.

When did fancy dress cease to be a bit of fun and become an assumed endorsement of the character you dress up as? Madness.

Too many snowflakes now. I only have to look at most of the so called comedian's. No idea what comedy is.
