Get well soon, Raul

Don Goodman for a start.

Kristian Timar too, fractured his skull against us for Plymouth on the last day of 2007/2008. As Dan says, numerous examples of players returning from this type of injury

He'll be back no doubt. Whether it's sooner than later depends on Raul and how he feels when he starts to head the ball again. Also, It's not just about the money. It's the thrill of playing at the top level too. Players don't give that up easily, just like any top level sportsman.

Surprised the club didn't pay the £7.5k and give the lot to charity

Nuno re Raul.

“We had a consultation and the results are amazing, but it’s too soon to predict an exact moment. He’s working by himself, but with a good intensity in his training sessions, so we are really positive and delighted that everything’s going to be OK.”

From todays Presser

"Jimenez latest "He's been able to integrate the start of some of the training sessions (outdoors). He's improving really well but we have to be careful and follow the protocols. "We're delighted and happy and missing him. It will take time but he's in the right direction."

Cue some sexy pics of Raul running around some grass with the team later

Didn't we already see him doing outdoor training last week?

On his own. Which I think was just some jogging. Now he is starting off the training sessions with the 1st team then leaving when they get to the ball work etc. Similar to Jonny around a month ago but I don't think we will see the same sudden ramp up in training and playing with Raul

Apparently he's made himself available for the Olympic squad
