Get well soon, Raul

I really hope he'll just turn up unannounced on the team sheet without any prior knowledge. Especially against the Albion.

I reckon by the end of this month he could be back on the bench and we'll phase him in slowly as we have done with Jonny.

I think it will be after the international break, so maybe he will be in full training by the West Ham game.

It's a pretty phenomenal recovery from an absolutely horrific injury. I have no doubt he'll come back just as he left, too.

So from the latest update, Raul doing everything bar contact in training. Waiting for permission to join in that part of training but from the way the club are talking that is not far away.

And no doubt we'll all wince when that first high ball comes over 😨

So good news and how much we have missed him..one worry though is how he will approach those tough headers mentally.

He’s had the peroxide out judging by Instagram.

I wonder if that is to make the scar less visible. With his dark hair the scar was obvious, blonde it is less so.

Really. I thought the red line was very noticeable in the blonde.

Nah, it's not about the scar, it's just dead sexy that way.
Considering doing it myself...

Nuno got asked the same question re Raul as he gets every week and gave broadly the same answer. The one bit I hadn't seen before is that when he's back they are going to seek permission for him to play in his protective headgear which is custom made for where his injury was.
