Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Yeah I didn't want to be accused of pointing out the obvious again, bit they really didn't use their imagination when naming the Chiffchaff.

It's certainly no Yellow Bellied Sapsucker in the inventive name stakes that our American cousins christened.
First one of the year reported at RSPB Frampton Marsh in Lincs. So, I’m calling it spring. Chiffchaff that is, not a yellow bellied sapsucker - which would be a decent description of the opposition today if they win.

I haven't yet, but have noticed a couple of neighbours have already done theirs.

While cutting the grass, noticed our red currant bushes were starting to green up, our dwarf cherry and apple trees not so much....think the cherry might be on its last legs

I’m still at the stage where rabbit grazing > grass growth. Can’t be long now though :)

bastard cold today! snowing outside for the 4th time too. Nothing likely to settle I expect.

We've had about half a dozen flurries so far today. Nothing too bad.

Freezing in Dublin this morning, with flurries of hail.

Its now blue skies and sunny and Im working from the back bedroom as it is roasting here in the direct sunlight.
I opened the door and it was still a bit chilly though. Weird weather.

Just started a light flurry here. We had a ten minute proper blizzard about 1 o'clock. It's nothing though. Just wintry showers. Fairly chilly though I agree.

Even I will concede it's cold (and unseasonably so) today.

Pad has been known to say it's "fucking freezing today" and when I check it's like 15 degrees :D

15 degrees is fucking freezing! 26-28 degrees is lovely. Crusaders at home was too hot even for me though. I must have lost pounds that day.

The mean temperature in the UK only creeps above 15 for about three months of the year, maybe not even that some years!

We're all wired differently. In my first two years in Manchester I refused on principle to wear coats on a night out as fuck paying someone to look after it (but not really look after it, as happened at least twice to mates of mine) for a couple of hours. So out in a short sleeved shirt in November in the North West, no problem. Had to admit defeat when I moved to Hamburg though as you get a double whammy of a North Sea wind and airflows from Russia. That was too much even for me.

I just need to live in Barbados really. Only a Euromillions win from the dream.

Not too bad today as the sun is out, but walking to the pub last night in the wind and freezing rain was bloody painful!

Cold as buggery down here & even snow in the West Country (normally only occurs on Exmoor!)

Climate change is fast approaching.

I don't think buggery would be cold (I've no idea mind you)

Windy ay it. Just been to fetch the bin back in, found it 3 doors down and in the road.

Consider it training
