Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Woke up to a white scene though not that deep & temp has gone up now so starting to melt

Still gave the cat a bit of fun leaping around the drive early on before she realised that it was cold and shot inside again

Aaannnnddd...... now it's just muddy sludge...😔

Literally snowed fo continuously here since around 10. Getting heavier again now.

Took me an hour to drive 4 miles in Nottingham - carnage on the road.

Stopped here about an hour ago, think its due to freeze overnight, roads are gunna be horrendous in the morning

What a fantastic fun drive that was. The roads are terrifying. Absolute ice rink even on the major routes.

I'm just about to leave and the car is covered with snow, and the roads look icy as feck.

Gonna be fun also.

Really not liking the look of the forecast for tonight into tomorrow. Basically there are three possibilities.

1) the cold air up north sweeps down over us and it gets bloody chilly but fine
2) the cold air doesn’t drop far enough and we get a deluge from the Atlantic storm sweeping in
3) the cold air border and the storm front meet over the Midlands and we get a dumping of snow.

Various Met Office warnings (though most are wrong) - expectation of some snow & ice over the weekend

I usually take advice from Squeezes ex husband. A ridiculously good meteorologist. Even he says predicting snow exactly is the most difficult science. Definitely a wait and see situation.

Met office clearly get bored by the time they get down here - rarely that accurate

The most difficult science? I hope that's not a hill you're willing to die on?
