....because it *may* snow at some point in the next 2 weeks

Oh good. Don't forget to charge the batteries in your cameras in order to get yet more photos of your pet dog in the snow to send off to the BBC.

Bloody snow. Bloody general public.

We only need a light dusting and the world is ending.

My favourite bit of a snow fall is the reporters on the news getting sent out to stand in the snow to say "its snowing and cold"

It always makes headline news. Always. And the 'Your Pictures' section is always on the front page. Always.

Oh good. A snowy field. Hurrah. A child wearing a scarf who should be at school but isn't because it's too dangerous, so he's now flying down a steep hill on a piece of plastic. Now a warning - snow is cold AND slippery.

Fuck off.

Ah good, I love catching the train when the weather is like that. The hours of fun you can have waiting for a service that is never ever going to arrive. Not that they bother to tell you that.

the headlines have begun

The good old Daily Express. They must just have a Wheel of Fortune style thing which they whizz round every morning and it picks out "Weather/EU/Health/Diana/Rip-off Britain" and hey presto, there's your front page done.

You missed off immigrants, and about another 6 Diana's...

and you missed off Petrol prices and global warming.

It is January, so snow would not be a total surprise.

Anyway we do not have proper winters like what we used to !!!!!!

I agree Frank.

Work places and schools wouldn't close under a light flurry.

Good good I've been waiting for this snow to aid my photography :)

Unless its four foot deep and I can look out the bedroom window before work and go 'Sod that' I dont care !

ps. wasnt there going to be another ice age a couple of weeks ago ?

The Beast from the East, minus 20d, wind to cut you in half, snow deep enough to bury your house.....then 2 days before its arrival it magically disappeared and shops reported record sales of Fleece Blankets, Gloves.......

I get the day off work when it snows! Here's hoping..... That two weeks at Christmas just wasn't enough!
